Can I get some help authenticating these two purses? I found them in my local thrift store

This one looks like a 9951 Patricia legacy

Thanks in advanced!

Both are genuine. The top one is a Patricia's Legacy bag from 2000, the second is a Sonoma Small Zip Bag, Natural Grain from 1995

It's genuine, from some time between 1981 and 1986.

I don't know if you read it but we found UAL's uniform history site a few weeks ago and those are the years listed for the uniforms that included what has to be the Stewardess bag

Genuine. It might be a Small Tote, style 9685, from the early to mid 1980s. Here's the Fall 1983 catalog page

This is fake, no? The measurements seem to be similar to the Coach court, but the creed number is all off.

Please read the Salearea Coach Guides here, especially the ones on creeds and serial numbers for an explanation

http://search.reviews.ebay.com/members/salearea?uqt=g

The bag is genuine but the strap isn't and was not made by Coach, at least not for the Court Bag.

Excellent! Thanks for the links - Love seeing what these bags looked like "in action" back in the day :) This Stewardess is definitely going to be a keeper - Great size and such a cool story behind it!

Just what I needed - Thanks for the catalog photo too!

Same with this one... I know just enough about Authenticity to second guess everything & I know this style is often faked. This color in pics almost look gold but it is the tan/khaki & drk brn.

The photos are much too small to show if it's authentic or not.

Please read post number 1 in this thread for the kind of information we need to authenticate.
