Could someone please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
Another rescue from Goodwill this week...missing glued-in registration number.
Approx 11”w x 7”h x 2”d Shoulder strap drop 22”
Mid 70's Basic Bag #9455, yes?
Thanks in advance, as always!

It's genuine. AFAIK the original creed bags with the glued-in numbers weren't faked.

Here is the seller's response. Personally, I don't think I should have to pay for return shipping.
What do you all think? Is that unreasonable?

TIA

The seller has responded to you and offered another solution to solve this issue.

Seller's message:
"I am so sorry, I was told just the opposite before I posted it from someone who works at the coach outlet store! I will refund the shipping one way and the purchase price. I would see if it fits in a large envelope with bubble lining to ship it back."

If you're satisfied with this solution, you can let the seller know by sending a message in the Resolution Center. If you don't want to accept this offer, we encourage you to send the seller a message with solution that you'd be happy with.

Item: Rare Black And Brown Vintage Early 1990's Coach
Seller: dstevens1204

Comments: Never seen this, wondering if a Sheridan or if fake?
It's an authentic Sheridan Richmond 4209 from the early 90s. How do I say this nicely? The seller is overconfident about her expertise. "This is a very rare vintage 1960's coach. Late '60s coach do not have serial numbers. Coach started making serial numbers in the 70's. Yes the inside zipper do have the YKK which mean this bag is not FAKE. As an expert I know my bags and just want to make sure whoever is buying this bag is actually buying a 1960 rare vintage coach without a serial number."

LOL! :)

Thank you for authenticating Whateve and thank you so much for a quick response.

I bought a purse for my mom from the glass case at goodwill, and I was wondering if it was authentic?

My serial # is G8P-9049

Here is exact example of it on Ebay-

Sorry, we need to see the ACTUAL purse, not one that only seems like it. There can be very small differences between real and fake, and as post numbe one in this thread says, we need photos of the actual bag and the creed stamp and serial number. Thanks!

I'm glad it worked out. It's a shame you had to pay anything at all.
