Is this a Legacy Stripe Cell Phone Wristlet...or is there a different name? Fits my iphone 4s perfectly!
Any info like style number and age are much appreciated...thanks in advance!

Oops, sorry. I missed that.

It's not Julia. But it is authentic.

Authentic is good enough for me :) Thanks!

She lists both 6014 and 6104 in her description. It definitely looks like 6104, but I don't have anything at all on that style number. The year code looks like a 7, and the creed spacing is really strange, there are much bigger gaps between words than there should be on a creed from that time period. It looks like the first line ends with "It..." instead of "It was..." like almost all of them do.

The only other creeds from 1996-98 that end like that have been in a few Italian-made bags but they usually didn't have those large gaps between words although one from 1996 was close. And I've never seen a stamped Coach logo that huge on the outside of a classic-era bag. I wonder if the letters were stamped in a metallic ink that's worn off in places over time?

It looks like the second sentence starts with "It was handcrafted in Italy..." so maybe it's some obscure Italian-made bag that was discontinued almost as soon as it was released, maybe when some Coach exec decided that the inch-high logo looked tacky, and that a bag with no inside or outside pockets might not go over well with American buyers. It reminds me of those paper shopping bags with heavier paper handles that some stores used to use.

It's probably genuine but only a few might have been made. It could have even been a pilot bag.
Wow do you have Xray vision! I tried to make it bigger but it just go blurrier.

I thought of the backpack flap when I saw it as well. I have a little mini tote style 6152 in fuchsia that looks similar so wasn't sure if it was genuine. I think I'll ask her to provide a clearer pic of the creed. Thanks
What bothers most about it is the huge Coach cutout on the front. I was comparing it to 6107, which is the closest style number I have. On it "Coach" is embossed, not cut out, and it is much smaller.

Thanks Whateve!
you're welcome!

I won it with a bit of negotiation! It does look it great condition, doesn't it? The last BT one I won the seller reneged on the deal. God Bless Her! The blue one I have looks great with the cobalt blue tassels from the Legacy replacement strap duo Coach sold last year.

You have to go through a lot of listings to find them since most sellers never seem to know what the style is. Another style I would also like to get in British Tan is the Equestrian Shopper Flap style 9808. It is a great looking purse, I have it in black and Mahogany. Looks just as good with my Barbour wax jacket and wellies as with a cinched trench, skinny jeans and high boots
I love the leather on my mahogany equestrian shopper flap! I don't carry it much because it looks like it holds a lot but really doesn't.

Genuine Rambler's Legacy, 1999

I am confused, can you help? I received the navy Rambler's Legacy. I also bought this one-

listing:Vintage 80s Coach Classic City Bag British Tan Crossbody
number: 310848431286
link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-80s...1WZfvXIfosbMFxcWcp2qw%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

The BT one is about an inch wider than the navy, doesn't have grommets on the strap, and the strap attachment area is different on the interior. I thought they were both Rambler's Legacy bags? Why are they different?

Here is the link again to the navy one, sorry, I thought it would be in my quoted post.

I agree, I have the pale green pearlized 6107, which is absolutely gorgeous but doesn't look like it would be part of any collection this one might be part of.

They aren't the same bag. The navy one is a Rambler's Legacy 9061. A Rambler's Legacy will always have the style number in the creed because it wasn't introduced until the late 90s. The BT one is an older style. It is a Pocket Bag 9875. I'd love to find one of those!

Ok, thank you Whateve! They look so similar in design that I assumed the BT was a Rambler's Legacy.

It looks authentic. It's a Ranch Bag #9852 from 1989 -1991. Several people have had problems with that seller. You might be able to find more information by doing a forum search for the seller's name.
O.K., thanks, I'll search her name. She's already shipped the bag to me so it will be interesting to see what it looks like IRL.
I was looking for a fairly inexpensive bag to re-hab and this one fits the bill.....she also has great feedback on Etsy (I always check) so I didn't see any red flags with the transaction.
However, if the bag doesn't look as she described it then I can always get my money back through PP.
Another thing that made me feel comfortable with the purchase is that she has a "no hassle" 14 day return policy.
I do appreciate the heads up though, thank you!
