I have purchased a few bags from this seller in the past, not Coach but Fossil and Brighton, and was quite happy with them. Others have not been so lucky. The listing seems to clearly state all the faults with the bag so you should know what to expect. Not sure about the mica though. I winder where that came from? Hopefully it will wash off. Please post on the rehab thread when you've finished her!

Thanks for that info, yes my bag will be getting a bath if I deem her good enough to re-hab and I'll be sure to post some photos of the before and after. The mica doesn't worry me, I'm pretty sure it will soak off......thanks!
Can't wait to see what the experts say about this bag.....the only thing that would worry me is the strange 'backwards' S in the serial number. Or maybe I'm not reading it right? It's really hard to make out the creed in this one.

NYC Crossbody..either I got myself a Pristine~Never been used bag which doesn't need rehabbing(almost too good to be true!!) or?? My Two questions are, the zip pull on inside pocket..and the length of the shoulder strap..strap measures 37 inches from "dog leash clasp to clasp..It seems a little short to me?other than that, it looks, feels & smells "brandy-new"
I'm beginning to doubt myself & getting paranoid, thinking every bag I get is fake...and OH MY! I never want to end up on the wall o' shame..or sell a fake bag! pics follow! Thanks so much for all your hard work! SHERI

It shouldn't be a letter, it should be a number which would make it a 2. The experts will know if its the real deal.

I have attached pics as well. The pic of the purse is the one on amazon, the pic of the inside is the one I had the seller send me. He says there is no creed because in his words "Not this one. Some of the smaller sized crossbody bags by Coach does not come with the serial number plate inside."
The measurements are 10.5"(L)x7"(H)x2.5"(D)

I tend to agree except if that is supposed to be a 2 it doesn't really look like the other 2.....something strange.
It's an authentic convertible clutch. The strap length is correct; there were longer straps available on request. I've seen funky zipper pulls that look like that. The color looks like putty or taupe to me.
The seller's main picture is a Coach stock photo, not a picture of the actual bag he is selling. I can't tell you if it is authentic without multiple photos. He is right in that it doesn't have a creed. In the future, please refer to the first post of this thread to see what information we need. The creed of this bag is an absolute mess. There are so many things wrong with it. I'm afraid it is a fake.
