It's lovely and is in on my covet list.
If I get this, I will have two, one is navy and now a BT. They are great purses, the shape, the weight, the way the zip opens all the way around so everything is visible. Plus the straps are long enough to wear on the shoulder but not too long to carry over your wrist. My navy is dark enough to imagine it black but I may be tempted by a black one as well. I think they are ageless. I hope you get one.

Hi everyone!!

How does this Willis look?

Listing. Vintage coach purse

No. 121279019326

Seller. Theflamingostylist55

Thank you!!

It's a genuine Willis Bag. The owner has punched at least one extra buckle hole in the strap though, so be aware of that. There's no way to tell how good or bad they made it look.

Please authenticate this item! I bought this on a wim. Not thinking of getting it authenticated first:( the seller seems nice and everything matches up (the strap is connected to different (shorter or longer) holes, but that is fixable. The seller has sold other coach before and claims to only sell authentic coach. Which can always be a lie, just thought I would tell you! Please let me know what you think! Also what color is this? I was going for a golden yellow, the pics are a little dark except for the creed which I think depicts the actual color! Also I searched the style is it a Maggie Duffel?

It looks authentic. Yes, it is a Maggie duffle. I don't know what the actual color is. In some of the photos, it looks camel or British tan. There was a yellow offered in 1998 but I don't have a picture, and I don't know if that color was available in 1997. I have another style from 1998 for which the color was called yellow and it is a true golden yellow, not as orange as the last picture.

Can someone check this out for me? Is the COACH on the outside cut out? TIA

That's a strange looking bag with a stranger looking creed and flap of leather on which the creed is stamped.

She says the creed shows the style number as 6014 but whatever is there doesn't look like 6014.

Please wait for other opinions but I don't believe that Coach made that bag.

I haven't seen a BT listed. It looks in good condition. Did you get it?

I don't either. I don't have a 6014 in my files. That cutout is odd. I wish I could actually see the creed. On a bag that big, I can't imagine Coach would have used a flap of leather for the creed when there is plenty of room for a pocket. A flap like that was only used on drawstring bags where a pocket wouldn't work.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach accessory?
Bought at Goodwill yesterday (where else?)
Approx. 3.5”w x 5.5”h x .75”d Strap 6” clipped
Is this a Legacy Stripe Cell Phone Wristlet...or is there a different name? Fits my iphone 4s perfectly!
Any info like style number and age are much appreciated...thanks in advance!

She lists both 6014 and 6104 in her description. It definitely looks like 6104, but I don't have anything at all on that style number. The year code looks like a 7, and the creed spacing is really strange, there are much bigger gaps between words than there should be on a creed from that time period. It looks like the first line ends with "It..." instead of "It was..." like almost all of them do.

The only other creeds from 1996-98 that end like that have been in a few Italian-made bags but they usually didn't have those large gaps between words although one from 1996 was close. And I've never seen a stamped Coach logo that huge on the outside of a classic-era bag. I wonder if the letters were stamped in a metallic ink that's worn off in places over time?

It looks like the second sentence starts with "It was handcrafted in Italy..." so maybe it's some obscure Italian-made bag that was discontinued almost as soon as it was released, maybe when some Coach exec decided that the inch-high logo looked tacky, and that a bag with no inside or outside pockets might not go over well with American buyers. It reminds me of those paper shopping bags with heavier paper handles that some stores used to use.

It's probably genuine but only a few might have been made. It could have even been a pilot bag.

Comment: can't see the creed clearly but it looks like the serial number is xxx-xx

Yes, and it says "Made In Korea". Feel free to report it. :D

It's surprising that they actually went through the trouble of making magnetic snaps with Coach's name on them. Even Coach never did that.
