Looks so much like mine, but the strap is totally different.
Often they simplify a few of the details when they make them for factory. That could be why it has a different style number. Also probably because they wanted a 5 digit all-numeric style number, since yours was made several years later.

I don't have the second one in my files but I don't see any problems with either.

I did a quick search and the are calling it a Chelsea zip hobo online. Do you think that might be correct? Same number and strap as mine.

Oh and I have to say that Leather CPR is a wonderful thing. She cleaned up so nicely. Is there a way to clean the interior without a dunk and scrub?

That's probably right. Unless you find a new one with a tag still attached, you won't know for sure.

Yep, I love Leather CPR. I love the leather on these Chelsea bags. You should be able to pull the lining out to clean it. If it is really dirty, I'll get it wet and wash it with dish soap. Otherwise, I use a spray cleaner - one of those that you buy concentrated and dilute with water. I get mine at the 99 cent store. Any mild cleaner that doesn't have bleach in it would probably work.

Ooo, good idea. I'm going to try Folex, that stuff is awesome! Thanks for the idea!

Comment: seller messaged me that serial number is 0444-315

The number is on the Fakes List:

The strap clips are fake too, the rest of the photos are too blurry to make out many details, maybe that was deliberate. DON'T BID.

Comment: I have one like this in navy blue but the "made in the United States" is in the body of the creed not below it like this one.
The G plant put the "Made in the United States" at the bottom of the creed much longer than other plants. It looks okay. More opinions are welcome.

This style is faked a lot. Doesn't that strap look like it has silver hardware? Too bad it has so many bids. I don't know if they will believe our reports since the number isn't shown in the listing.

The first half of the serial number has 4 digits, but that style was released in 1994 and there shouldn't be more than 3 digits in the first half, and it would never happen that all of them would have straight horizontal understamping marks since none of the year codes from the mid-90s when that style was made would have them, only "1" and "2".

And like I mentioned in a previous post, the strap clips are fake. It's worth a try to report it anyway.

Hyacinth and Whateve can comment on the authenticity of the bags in question.

I just want to comment on the seller and his history. (It is a guy!)

The seller has a long history of not authenticating items prior to listing them and over the years, there have been many posts here as well as many posts on the ebay clothing and purse boards. In fact, the seller himself has posted and has been told by authenticators that he needs to authenticate before listing items.

Here are just a few examples of Azuremerekat fakes:

The seller, geeka1234 claims in her listing that she "owned and sold a lot of Coach bags" but clearly, she doesn't know how to identify fakes.

Geeka1234 also sold this fake Coach wallet:

and this one:
