Good morning everyone!
I just got this bag in a group and I am having serious doubts.
While it somewhat looks like a Penny purse, instead it has
a slip pocket instead of a zippered pocket.
And worst of all there is NO serial number, just the creed.
Also notice in the creed the word "markings" is hyphenated.
Is that something Coach ever does?
It measures 8.25"x5"x2"

SCRATCHES also seems to be misspelled...

Sorry, it's fake. The creed stamping isn't right either, especially the border around the Coach logo. The strap looks too thick and shouldn't have rivets on the ends and "markings" was never hyphenated in vintage bags. But "SCRTCHES" is a dead giveaway.

And I also understand about the strap, kudos for you for seeing it in the pics!!
