I got this one (it's in the mail), and I want to be sure that I didn't make a mistake. Seller accepts returns, but I hope not to have to return it. I know I should have asked here first, but I had no time so I went for it. These are pictures from the listing, size 10 x 9 more or less.

It's a genuine Saddle Pouch Large, style number 9585 probably from the early or middle 1980s.

You don't need to include photos since they are in the listing. You only have to post photos if you have others that show more details. Ideally, there should be more photos of each bag. I don't see any problems with them. Neither are Bonnie Cashin. The older bag is a Laurel bag from the Lightweights collection from the early 90s, many years after Bonnie Cashin left Coach.
Thanks so much for your help!

Comments: One of the seller's items came up for authentication on the Dooney "authenticate this" thread and I declined to authenticate for a seller with such a long history of mixing fakes and authentic items. There have been fake Coach (many), fake Kate Spade, fake Chanel and who knows what else.

In fact, over a year ago, she came to the ebay boards and it was suggested that she pre-authenticate and boardies found several fakes in her listings at that time.

Is this creed for the above listing correct? The font and puffiness look odd to me.

Comments: The seller is calling this a Mini Willis (style number 23706--see zoom of Coach creed attached). I own a Mini Willis. It doesn't have the "Coach" name stamped on the back of the bag and it has a different style number (19886). Are there two different "Mini Willis"? How are they different? This bag certainly seems authentic.

I haven't been able to find any R plant codes from that time period that seem genuine. The back of the bag doesn't look right for some reason, and I'd really want to see all of the inside pocket including the zipper ends. The creed placement is unusually low too.

There's a disgusting number of fake and questionable Pat's Legacy bags listed on Ebay right now. No one should consider buying ANY of them without a full clear set of photos, especially the creed, serial number, strap grommets, and the entire inside pocket showing the zipper and ends.

Comment: Surely not?

Why not? It's a genuine Wool Small Hippie Flap.

I have NO idea why she's calling it a Ford though, or Ford Green. I've heard of Army Green and British Racing Green but Ford Green is a new one. I was in the car business for 20 years and never heard any color referred to as Ford Green. Why not just call it Olive or Hunter or Loden? Her pics are showing two different shades so a more exact color description would be a lot more helpful.

Wow. Coach continues to surprise me! I though the serial number looked way too fat. You live and learn. Thanks Hyacinth
