I'm not sure how I didn't follow it. I included the name and photos. I was not aware at the time that the auction link would still work.

I had read those but I didn't know if it should at least say Coach inside somewhere.

Thanks for your help.

No, if there's no creed or no Coach lining you have to depend on the bag itself to tell you what it is.

Didn't you already ask about this one? Either here or at Ebay?
ETA - Never mind, I just saw that BeenBurned mentioned it too.

It's genuine.

Thank you all... I was asking for a colleague... she sells on Tophatter.com, she had her listing pulled because its authenticity was questioned... she isnt a member here so she asked me and I thought it was but didnt want to stake my life on it...lol

I thank you and she does too... her ability to sell could have been jeopardized by this...

Thank you! Thank you!

Item: wristlet
Seller: shaconda09 poshmark.
Comments:May be another poshmark fake but idk, she "claims" it's from the outlet

Ew! It has signature lining and exterior. The zipper sticks out of the wristlet. I'm sure there are other things wrong with it but I don't want to look at it anymore. "From the outlet" is a euphemism for not from a real Coach store. Those fake websites call themselves outlets.

HI all and hope Hyacinth is ok in between the storms! Stay safe everyone. I picked up a little NYC bag...a Dinky? at Savers tonight - a really neat bag and looks good to me but want to double check. It measures 8.5LX5HX2W. It has a glued on tag as well as the creed, I'm assuming of the store that sold it back in the day? Here are photos and thanks as always! could I have the name and approximate year made if known My 12 year old really likes it which is encouraging since she is more of a newer Coach fan and her mom is more of a vintage fan. ;)

It looks fine. I don't think it was called a Dinky since those had flaps. The glued in tag is from the store that originally sold it. I have one like that and the tag survived the bath. The color looks like burgundy. I'm sorry I don't know the name. It was probably made in the late 70's, early 80's. It looks like the zipper pull fell off.

Thanks, Whateve! yes, the zipper pull is gone...it's such a cute bag - perfect for going out shopping!

Yep, so far we're hanging in there, and the power is still on. :smile1:

How about a Zippered Pouch, style 9655? It was called a Small Zippered Pouch in the early 1980s but they had dropped the "Small" by 1985.

It's authentic.

I believe that the seller also posted on the ebay purse board asking about authenticity because the buyer was questioning it.

See my response above re Coach's smaller items and the creeds/serial numbers and/or lack thereof.

ETA: here are more expert opinions. Note that the thread was subsequently hijacked by another poster but most of it concerns the authenticity of your pouch.

I'm a little confused but at my age, it's not uncommon.

The ebay seller had requested verification of authenticity on the ebay boards, presumably because her buyer questioned the lack of a serial number.

If your colleague isn't the same seller whose pictures are in the ebay listing, we are unable to authenticate a bag from a seller on tophatter.com. For all we know, the listing on tophatter might have shown pictures of a fake. We need to see actual pictures of the bag that was listed on tophatter.

Comparing to a similar bag on a different site proves nothing.

ETA: On second thought, I considered whether your friend might have been mewmew52lk's buyer but since the ebay listing just ended yesterday, that's not possible either.

Until the actual item on tophatter is verified, I don't recommend your friend relist.

Awesome!! that the power is still on and that you found the name of my bag with a picture! Thanks, Hyacinth! I can't wait to wash her up!
