So I bought a Coach Purse on ebay. It said it was authentic and the seller had a great feedback so I decided to go for it. I received it today and I am not 100% convinced it is authentic!

It is a Leather Ashley Swingpack, but there is NOTHING inside the bag that says coach. The leather is nice, even has a strong leather smell. Please tell me if you think it is real or if I need to try to get my money back!
It's authentic. This particular item doesn't have a creed.

Note that many of coach's smaller items including swingpacks, pouches, cosmetic cases, wristlets, etc. may or may not have creeds. Those with creeds may or may not have serial numbers.

Again, please refer to post #1 of this thread for the posting information.

It's authentic.

I believe that the seller also posted on the ebay purse board asking about authenticity because the buyer was questioning it.

See my response above re Coach's smaller items and the creeds/serial numbers and/or lack thereof.

ETA: here are more expert opinions. Note that the thread was subsequently hijacked by another poster but most of it concerns the authenticity of your pouch.

Please read the Salearea Guide on Authenticity Facts and Myths, especially the part about smaller items and creeds - "THE CREED STAMP RULES"!

I'm not sure how I didn't follow it. I included the name and photos. I was not aware at the time that the auction link would still work.

I had read those but I didn't know if it should at least say Coach inside somewhere.

Thanks for your help.

No problem. Seeing links to listings and seller ID gives us additional information as to the history and items. Your post didn't include the seller ID or listing number. Now that you know listings are viewable long after they've ended, you can include more info.

It looks good to me but more opinions are always welcome.
Thank you for taking a look at this. I do have one other question. In the picture that shows the inside of the bag on the right side you can see white streaks at the seamline. I have seen this on other older Coach (or at least purported Coach) bags and it has made me uneasy. Is this something that is common even on authentic Coach bags or should this be regarded as a warning sign.

Thank you for your time and advice.

(Posting in between storms...)

It's common on genuine Coaches.
