If this is a seller who wants to have a good reputation, she needs to learn about what she's selling. She has to know the law regarding the sale of counterfeit goods -- it's never allowed; even if you admit it's fake or if you don't know if it's fake. She must have items authenticated before listing them!!

In fact, I'm noticing that her ebay listings were removed so that means her account has been dinged.

Perhaps you might want to direct the seller here and suggest she do a bit of reading of the forum.

So addicted to this forum, can't believe it took me til just a couple weeks to find you guys, you're awesome! Anyway, i am loving this bag/color for spring but im having a hard time finding this particular style anywhere else for comparison. Can anyone authenticate?

Thank you for the welcome. I've been reading up about the Coach Court bag and believe that the bag was indeed a genuine Coach bag, but I feel a lot better after getting a thumbs up from you. Thank you!

If I win the bid, it'll be my first attempt at "rehabbing" a bag and IF I'm successful with the rehab, then this will be the first Coach bag I'll own. A user name "momtok" gave a detail account of her rehab process. I've read that the rehab process is more "forgiving"/successful on darker colored leathers (black, brown, navy, etc.), but what about red leather? The bag is definitely soiled, so all suggestions, tips, or directions to another thread would be greatly appreciated.

Often it is hard to tell beforehand how well a bag will respond to rehab. This bag looks faded. Sometimes it is just because the leather is dry and the bath magically restores the color. I have rehabbed lots of different colors. I know everyone says black is the easiest but, for me, that hasn't been true.

I don't know anything about the trustworthiness of the Facebook group but I don't see any problems with the bag. I don't know why the seller would tell you to review the leather collection from last year since this bag is 10 years old. This kind of lining is fine for this style. There are other signature linings that are always fake, and you almost never see signature on both the outside and inside of a bag.

She told me that because of the concern the the C's lining. Since the outside did not have the C's, I wasn't too sure what the rule of thumb was for that. I'm assuming that they did that last year it sounded like so that's why she told me to check. Thanks for the authentication!

You're welcome. As far as I can recall, Coach hasn't used lining with C's on it for many years. There isn't any bag from last year that has signature lining.
