So I bought a courtenay off bonanza and it has all it's parts and the tag still on there is a goofy little curly circle on the upper left hand corner of the creed that looks like a loop. Has anyone seen those before? -I can't upload my photo.

Do you mean different from the target symbol they use at the outlet?

ETA: Oh, I see, it is the target symbol. It means it was sold at the outlet.

No rehabbing project in the following weeks, at least for that particular bag. Sadly, I had to pass on the bag, the current bid is now much higher than I'm willing to pay. Interestingly, there were absolutely no bidders for a while, then the same day after I posted on the Purseforum for authentication..you know what happened. I wonder if someone here will be the lucky winner..but maybe it was just a coincidence and because the red leather is just lovely. I guess it's "all's fair in love and war"..and ebay. Although it's hard, I just have to wait, patiently wait, for another Court bag to come along and when it catches my eye, I'll be back here.

Don't worry, eventually another bag will come up, you just have to be patient which is really hard I know. There is a risk when posting on this Forum that you alert other buyers to items. I'm sure I've lost out on a few because I've posted here. Next time perhaps you could wait until almost the last minute to seek authentication to mimimise exposure. I wouldn't recommend it for other brands where you can wait for days or not even get a reply but the Coach team of Authenticators are wonderful. They are so reliable and always seem to be available when you need them.

Only bags that were originally sold at full price boutiques will have it. I believe it's to prevent you from returning it to a full-price store. Made for factory items sold at outlet stores usually won't have the target mark, with the exception of some keychains.

I've not seen this type of folio/brief before. Figured I'd best check it out. It's from another seller online and this is all the photos I've got. It doesn't have any kind of creed, etc.

Diimensions are 10.25" x 7.5"

I have that in red - I had it authenticated here (apologize, can't link) - and in post 2617 of the last authenticate this thread (here: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-763164-175.html).

I moved the pictures from my photobucket, but it was the same thing. I can dig for the pictures, but the computer has died since now and then, so I'm not sure where they are. LMK

(Note, I'm no expert, and not giving any opinions, but thought it might help)

I'm not sure because this is the only picture I can find and they don't show the reverse side but it might be style 6991.
