I'm not sure because this is the only picture I can find and they don't show the reverse side but it might be style 6991.

Wow, that is so interesting! I can't really help. I would have assumed something of this age would be a classic pouch, but the strap doesn't have the correct shape. The brass and the strap look more like the strap on my courier pouch. It is really big too!

I don't think it got lost as much as there was no one else who is familiar with the bag and can offer a conclusive opinion.

If the bag were an obvious fake, you would have been told that. But because has made so many different styles and designs over the years, it's impossible to "know" them all. Sometimes no further response simply means that no one knows the bag.

Nothing screams fake to me.

The "scratched" area in the second picture looks fairly deep, and there also seems to be some discoloration or color transfer in the same area.

That seller has a long past history of not disclosing the actual condition of their items but their Toolhaus.org record has improved over the last few years.

I think the wristlet looks to be authentic although the creed photo shown in the listing isn't from this listing. The seller apparently included a picture from this previous listing she'd sold:
