I don't know anything about the first one. The rest are fine. The Sheridan might be a Sheffield Bucket 4232. Hyacinth can confirm. The last one looks like #4020 Drawstring Sac Small from the Lightweights collection.

You really need to have your items authenticated and ask any questions before bidding and/or buying. It's not fair to sellers and in fact, is violating ebay rules.

I can understand this point of view, so what I've had to do is just privately copy/paste the photos here temporarily separate from the auction link, because unfortunately there are some serious TROLLS on tpf who have learned of good auctions they were otherwise unaware of, and have sniped the auction out from under me and others I have talked to. It's sad that people don't respect someone else's work of putting auctions up here . And I realize it's a "free market" and anyone can buy whatever they want, but if I see my holy grail bag I am not wanting to help someone else buy it.. They have to find it on their own like I did. I hope you understand what I am saying :D

I haven't had a chance to read what others might have said about this previously so I hope I am not making you repeat yourself on stuff. I know you are an extremely knowledgeable person when it comes to the hazards of ebay

Hello, ladies. Wondered if anyone can tell me about this bag. The creed doesn't make sense to me but I've learned to expect the unexpected after finding this forum!

Description: Good used (8 out of 10) condition from smoke free home

Item no. 140971259368

Seller: hungergames2010

Link: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/140971259368

Also, I would like to chime in regarding the issue of authenticating purses prior to paying. I agree with Hyacinth about OP using this site as a failsafe after commiting to purchase .

In my short experience with the purse forum, I've lost auctions after listing the item here but I think it's unrealistic to assume that the person who won was trolling this site. I won auctions before finding this sight and for all I know some of the other bidders had requested authentication here. I'm still pi**ed I lost an auction for fifty lousy cents for a British Tan Legacy Tote but c'est la vie!!

At first, I thought I was reading a "bean bag" creed, but this appears to be an "best bag." The creed doesn't show "Coach" but instead is "Leatherware."

I don't believe this is considered counterfeit. But it's certainly "inspired" by Coach.

As for the comments about authenticating after the fact, it was I who made them. And again, I meant no ill will toward anyone who had come after an ended listing. Sheesh, many if not most found tPF after having purchased a fake, never previously having known the site existed.

But ebay policy is clear and although sellers are violating policy to list a fake in the first place, once the sale has been completed (i.e, the listing ended with a buyer), that buyer is contractually obligated to complete it.

Another benefit to posting ahead and finding out a listing is fake is that it can be reported, hopefully removed and the seller isn't credited with a sale, but instead, her account is dinged.

Here's the policy. The part in red is the pertinent part and in order to avoid an NPB ding (should the seller choose to file for non-payment) is to pay for the item and file SNAD.

I won an item but no longer want to buy it. What should I do?

A bid or commitment to buy on eBay is considered a contract and you're obligated to purchase the item. However, if you feel that you have a legitimate reason for not buying the item, you can contact the seller and explain your situation.

Many sellers are willing to work with you if you communicate with them openly and honestly. If you haven't done so already,
request the seller's contact information, explain the situation, and see if they are willing to cancel the transaction in the Resolution Center. If the seller opens a case, you'll receive an email asking you to agree to the seller's request to cancel the purchase. Be sure to promptly accept the seller's request.

If the seller doesn't agree to the cancel the transaction and you don't pay for the item, an unpaid item will be recorded on your account. If you get too many unpaid items recorded on your account within a short time period, your account may be limited or suspended.
