"You can post a link to an auction you are interested in, or one that you have purchased from. Without seeing the bag I can't tell you if it is authentic. However, the creed you posted appears authentic for a vintage Coach bag made between 1989 and 1993. The style number for a station bag is 5130 but that number will only appear in the creed on bags made after 1994. This link will explain more about Coach creeds: http://www.ebay.com/gds/Coach-Serial-Numbers-the-Basic-Facts-/10000000034886433/g.html"

Thank you, Whateve, I think this is what she needed to know.

I just stumbled upon this listing, and I'd like to hear from the pros how credible does it look to you. I know very little about fake Coach bags, and it looks suspicious even to me. But this seller has a 5 year long 100% positive reputation, should it still be questioned? And she says no returns which doesn't sound right to me...

You're welcome.

Yes, that one is fake. Coach numbers are never only 5 digits long. The wording is just jibberish. Fakes like this are pretty common and were probably made in Korea. Don't ever count on a seller's feedback to assure you that the items she sells are authentic, especially someone who doesn't specialize in Coach. A lot of resellers don't bother to check authenticity. Not all buyers who receive a fake will give negative feedback. In the instances where I received a fake, I never left feedback because it was more important to me to get my money back. All positive after 5 years doesn't necessarily mean a seller never got a negative because negatives only affect a seller's percentage for a year, then they fall off. As far as no returns, I completely understand that policy. Most sellers don't make a huge profit and returns can cut into that immensely.

I don't see any problems with it except for the strap. Coach never permanently attached the straps to these or similar bags. That would have been done by someone else. The strap is finished like a Coach strap but the metal loops at the ends wouldn't have been on an original Coach strap.

YAY it's 50% off day at Goodwill...could someone please authenticate them?
Approx. 10.5”w at base X 8”h X 2.5”d Strap drop 8”
Is this a 2002 Hamptons Clip something or the other #7751?
Any and all info is appreciated, as always, Thanks!

I believe it is called Hamptons Clip Hobo. There is another one, #7778, that is almost identical. Maybe one of them is larger?

I think it's style 7766 but I don't have a name for it. That particular Scribble Pastel would have been from 2005-06.

Genuine, Hamptons Leather Satchel

We would need to see a clear, close, readable photo of the creed patch and serial number. And since the seller is located in the Philippines and has only a very short history selling name-brand items and NO history selling Coach, there's no way I would want anyone to buy from them without very solid proof of authenticity.

I can't even pull up a copy of the listing. Either it's being blocked to US members, or it's been removed by Ebay. Even searching Ebay without signing in and using Worldwide settings isn't helping.

7751 is listed as the Hamptons Leather Small Clip Hobo.
