It looks authentic. It's a Winnie top handle. It is very small and missing the long strap.

Thank you, and thank you for pointing out the size. I didn't realize it was so small. I spent so much time looking at the photos trying to figure out what kind of bag it was that I didn't fully read the dimensions!

You're welcome. It is like a baby Willis. It is super cute but not big enough for me.

It seems genuine. If there's an outside pocket on the other side it's probably a Chester Bag
Yes it does have a pocket on the other side! I should of taken a pic of the front! Is mine an earlier model? When I google the Chester bag, all of them had the month, year and plant where it was made and then the style number... Mine just has random numbers... Thanks

The Salearea Coach Guides posted at Ebay can answer a lot of questions about serial numbers and all kinds of other things. You might want to read them and Save or Bookmark them:

Since I know you guys already I thought I would ask here before searching -
Does anyone know where I can get an opinion about authentication on a Brahmin bag,
and if there actually are any fakes of that brand?
I don't see it in TPF.
Thank you!

Those guides are very helpful! Thanks! I know before 1994 they just had random numbers and after 1994 it changed. So mine is authentic and made before 1994 and some Chesters were made after 1994 and given the style, plant, month and year it was made? Thanks for clearing this up for me!

Never mind! After a lot of examination I have come to my own conclusion that the bag I bought is a fake.
Sorry to bother you.

ALthough it isn't Coach, may I ask whether the "Brahmin" bag you question actually has the Brahmin name on it?

I ask because I've never seen or heard of fake Brahmin. I've seen inspired styles with similar leathers and styles but I'm not sure that it's faked.

That's exactly right. And any serial number that's all numbers with no letters of the alphabet (assuming it's genuine, of course) was made before 1994.

This is the pack laying flat! The previous owner did not care about shape!

Sorry, I have a feeling that one might not be genuine. That serial number prefix E2X- has a plant code that doesn't belong to a USA plant.

We may need to see more photos. I'm not sure of what yet though, but in the meantime can you check the buckles on the backpack and see if any of them have a stamp that says "Solid Brass"? Did you just buy it, and can you post the auction URL and the listing number?

Oh no! I am going to be sad if it isn't:/. I bought it from a local consignment store in my city! The lady is a coach fanatic and I think she bought this from one of her coach friends. The buckles do say 'solid brass' on the back of them! More pics to follow
