The only other photo that might give us more information is of the inside taken from the top. Look at the ones below as examples of how to do it. They're taken in full light, natural light is best, and it looks like the first seller may have even folded over or pushed down the leather of the front panel a bit to get a better picture of the inside. We already have a creed pic but the area around the creed - the whole pocket plus the entire zipper and the entire pocket top to bottom and how it's proportioned compared to the rest of the inside - is what we would like to see if you can get one or two clear well-lit photos.
But it is fake even without a pic of the inside? The inside looks just like the pics your showed me. I am going to return it today after some errands, so please get back to me as soon as you can! Thanks!

I don't see it in TPF.
Thank you!

ALthough it isn't Coach, may I ask whether the "Brahmin" bag you question actually has the Brahmin name on it?

I ask because I've never seen or heard of fake Brahmin. I've seen inspired styles with similar leathers and styles but I'm not sure that it's faked.
No, it does not have the Brahmin name on it anywhere. That is why I realized it is fake, but actually it is not fake, it is just similar to Brahmin style - but it was advertised as Brahmin, and had the fob on it so not worth what I paid. It's actually quite nice. I can put up a photo or two but I don't want to do anything against TPF rules, since this is the Coach sub forum.

Hiya!
Just wanted to stick my head in and thank you all again for the priceless opinions and information you give indiscriminately!
Especially appreciated when I see it is not the same way in every group on TPF. I guess there are not any special rules or policies.
Note the comment that was posted by an authenticator in "another" authentication group..not directed at me, though I surely took it that way because of my ONE request 10 days ago.

"Please also be reminded that we would only like to authenticate for collectors and not for the resellers. Thanks. :) "

I respect their choice, but you would think that by ensuring sellers only sell authentic items they are indirectly benefiting those "collectors" NO?

I'm sorry someone posted that on another authentication thread. I don't feel that way at all. Anything I can do to reduce the number of fakes on the market help all of us, both buyers and sellers. There are styles I want but am afraid to buy because of the potential of getting a fake. I'm sure there are other collectors who feel the same way, so anything we can do to reduce that possibility should be encouraged.

Both the plant code and stamp on the buckles are wrong, so yes, there's no doubt in my mind that it's fake. There's no need to take more photos, just know that for future authentications, a well-lit picture of the whole inside back panel of the bag is sometimes a good idea.

I've seen plenty of Brighton look-alikes in thrift stores. I don't remember seeing Brahmin copies, but I saw quite a few with a Tod's stamp. Since I don't know anything about the brand, I didn't want to take a chance. After Coach, the most common fake I've seen is Gucci, even more than LV.

Good Morning! Could someone please authenticate this Coach checkbook wallet?
Bought at Goodwill.
Approx. 7”w x 4”h x .5”d closed. 7”w x 8”h open
Does anyone know name, age, style number?
All info is appreciated. Thanks in advance, as always!
I have the same "wallet." Inside the long slip pocket behind the ID window is a "Made in India" stamp.

Can someone help me with authentication, great quality bag and it "feels" right I just can't find any online but 1 on eBay...local thrift find
Serial number is E3S_5188

Sorry, posted 1st without pcs...

1- genuine Madison Biltmore

2- genuine Dinky Bag but from 1997 and so not technically "vintage". The Biltmore doesn't quite meet the accepted definition of "vintage" as 20 years old or more yet either.
