To add another opinion - that bag was definitely made by Coach and is definitely leather. It was even sold through the Coach Factory Store and is marked accordingly. The hardware is exactly right, the creed is right, and here's Coach's own archive photo for style # 7542, Hamptons Leather Buckle Demi

(You might also want to post the buyer's name or a link to her Ebay Feedback page so that other members here can "update their records").

And to add another layer of evidence - the Wayback Machine's saved copy of Coach's Handbags webpage from April 6, 2004 showing the identical bag, here's the link. Note that Coach describes it as "lightweight leather" so it's not going to feel the same as the glove-tanned cowhide bags:

Hello -
Just wanted to update you guys since you were helping me out with this.
I sent her here to read all the posts, showed her the links to the archived Coach web pages, but
The buyer is completely unmoveable.
THERE ARE NONE SO BLIND AS HE WHO WILL NOT SEE!
I am going to take the smart business way out and do as she asks, sigh.
But it is killing me, I feel like I am taking a plea deal when I did not
commit the crime!

Just want to double check, the creed reads N5E-4413, is the month Code N all right? Thanks!

There is not a creed picture to authenticate with but everything looks fine. The two-tone is rare. That is not the correct strap for the bag. The original strap slides through those loops and snaps. You can see what it should look like in this listing, picture 7: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vinta...986?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item2586e3e04a
It would be almost impossible to find the correct strap for this bag.

Can someone also confirm if this completed listing is fake? I have never seen this keychain style in different colors. Thanks.

The all-pink Winter Mix keychain IS fake. The genuine one was all multicolor with no pink at all.
I've reported seller mlkitty9570's fake Coach keychain.

Note that the seller also has a current listing for this fake Willis bag.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-COACH-...540?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item5af94fce24

I don't recommend mlkitty9570.

ETA: I found that I'd previously reported mlkitty9570 back in October 2012 for having a fake Coach keychain.

Did she actually read the entries regarding this item on the website? I don't understand why her opinion is so unshakeable. There is ample evidence that the item is genuine. It is pretty distressing to think the buyer will take the word of a Coach employee whose expertise goes no further than the current crop of inventory over the combined expertise of numerous experts whose knowledge spans decades of Coach items. I feel bad for you and can understand why you feel you are taking a plea deal. Not fair.

I reckon its buyer's remorse but she won't admit it. If it wasn't she'd be delighted with the evidence that she got an authentic bag for such a good price, IMO.

I'd love to add this buyer's ID to my BBL. If you prefer not to post it publicly, please PM me. No seller needs to deal with a buyer who isn't delighted that she received an authentic item.

I think any buyer who puts a seller through the wringer like that SHOULD have their name posted publicly. NO seller should ever have to deal with idiots like that. Bad enough that the moron can't see indisputable evidence when it's right in front of her nose, but to make it even worse, she STOLE that bag at the price she paid. Until FleaBay allows sellers to once again post honest FB for poisonous buyers, there needs to be some way of warning sellers, even if it's just posting their ID somewhere like tPF.

And people wonder why I don't sell on Ebay...

Hi ladies,
I was wondering if you could please help me out as I sold a coach ocelot packable weekender bag on ebay and the buyer received it and they think it is fake because it doesn't have a creed on it and I tried to explain that coach doesn't put the creeds on the packable totes for some reason just like they don't on the wallets and I told her she could search all the packable tote listings on ebay and see none of them have a creed but she still doesn't believe me so I was hoping to get a second opinion from you ladies to show her. As I know it is authentic since I purchased it from my local coach factory store. Here is the details on the auction

If you all have time, please check out a couple of Ebay listings. A seller has 2 of those supposed 7171s but with creeds and in 2 colors that are questionable at best. She also has 2 bags in hot pink, and all items have the same "G0D-" serial prefix. There's also a thread at Ebays Pursies Forum, assuming it survives. Seller is " desire_it ":

It looks fine.

I am supposing (though I don't know for sure) that the reason that bag doesn't have a creed is probably because it folds up to become one of the smaller accessories items, often made without creeds.

It's interesting to note that desire_it had fake Coach keychains dating back to Sept. 2012.

As for the current listings, IMO, there's no way Coach made something with a creed that looks like this:
