I'd reported those three fakes from manalof beginning on December 19. I was bummed when I saw that they'd been sold and crossed my fingers that the buyer hadn't paid yet.

What I would do is tell the seller that you want a full refund of every cent you paid and if she already shipped, as long as you get the cleared refund, you'll agree to refuse the package and mark it return to sender. (DO NOT REFUSE if she doesn't refund first. You'll lose a case.)

If the seller doesn't give a refund, open a dispute if you're able. I'm not sure whether you can open a case yet or whether a case can be opened on removed items.

It also won't hurt to call ebay on the phone and get it on record that the items were paid for, supposedly shipped and removed and confirmed as counterfeit.

Refer the seller, manalof here if she denies that they're fake.

I know, I know. I saw all the red flags and I still bought them. I took your suggestion and emailed the seller giving her till noon on Tuesday to refund me in full otherwise I will open a case. I'm going to call eBay tomorrow to let them know if the situation and see if there's anything I can do to speed up my refund. Thanks for the suggestions!

Ahh where are how do you get all of these authentic coach purse?!! In such great shape? Do you go to some special place where know on me buys stuff!:) so jealous:) could never find that stuff around where I live! :)

All of yesterday's posts were purchased at 3 different Goodwill stores in about a 20 mile radius of where I live...above average disposable (mostly retirement) income (despite the general economy) in my part of Florida.

The search continues! Could someone take a look at these bags and authenticate them for me?

The brown bag = Approximate measurements: 6.5(h) X 9.5 (L) X 2" (D) 19 TO 22" Shoulder Drop

The black bag = 42" adjustable strap, measurements 9" long by 7" H by 3"

Both are genuine but I'm not sure of the names. The second one may be a Collegiate Bag but the measurements don't match Coach's exactly.

Just a hint - any time you see a keychain with one of those 2-tone white & brown or brown & white flat rectangular 2-piece "gift boxes", RUN LIKE HELL. Because 99.99 percent of the time, what's in them or photographed with them is a three-dollar fake.

Coach DID use a ONE-piece box that opened on the ends for a few months about ten years ago, but we see maybe three or four of those a year. The 2-piece boxes have been used by fakes makers and sellers probably in the hundreds of thousands for at least that long. And none of them are ever genuine.

Also, you can look at the sticker on the box if they show it in a photo.....JKRSL PAVEFOB is on 99.99% of them.

Hi, I'm new to the forums, but have been reading here for a while. I'm so impressed by everyone's knowledge.

I found an ebay listing that I'm pretty sure is fake now that I've read back in this thread a bit. I have not reported this listing because I wanted to check with all of you experts first.

Here's the link:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/301047993132?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I got concerned when I noticed all the bids this keychain has. I think someone is about to get scammed. Thanks.

I'm glad you haven't reported because that keychain is authentic.

The box shown in the listing is fake, though. But don't report based on a fake box.

I can't find a style number at this time. I'll hunt around a bit when time allows.

ETA: Here's another listing (also authentic) for the same item:

1- genuine Lexington Flap

2- I don't have a listing for that number. The creed isn't readable and I'm not willing to go just by the seller's version of the number since 4136 is NOT a Sonoma style number, also the lining and hardware aren't right for a Sonoma. Even if the number actually turned out to be 4936, that would have made it a Nubuc style and not a smooth natural grain one. I DON'T recommend buying it.

3- genuine Whitney Hobo

Thanks, Hyacinth. Are there other styles that have the same hardware as the Whitney?

Sorry, I'm going to recommend against buying that one unless someone can find a pic of the actual production model. Coach's website pics show different colors for the hangtag and the four-leaf clover. A few details are correct or at least not obviously fake, but the color difference combined the the use of the fake box as a prop would make me hit the Back button unless I could see one in someone's collection that was obviously real. For instance it would seem to make a lot more sense to use green rather than gold for a 4-leaf clover, but again, I'd want more proof.

I'll keep looking. Style number was 1K01.

EDITED TO ADD - OK, now i'm sure it's real. Remember the other keyfob we talked about a few weeks ago where one of our regulars found the actual production color combo in that Japanese catalog from Brand Mall? I checked my copy and sure enough, the catalog shows a GREEN 4-leaf Clover and a PURPLE 7, just like in the Ebay listing. It also shows a WHITE hangtag. Coach's website photo does NOT show the colors that were used in the production versions.

Sorry I can't post a photo but I don't have a scanner.

The seller REALLY needs to get rid of that fake box though, it's not helping her credibility one little bit.
