Sorry, you can't sell or trade it anywhere in the US, because it's counterfeit. The style doesn't match the serial number or the date code in the serial number. The stamping itself is wrong, and if we had clearer pictures of the rest of the bag I'm sure we'd find other things wrong with it. Style 9983 which is what it's supposed to be according to the serial number should look like the picture below from Coach's late 1990s webpage.

It's a shame you weren't able to ask us about it as soon as you got it, we might have been able to help you get your money back.

Yes, it's fake. Besides other things, a three letter prefix is invalid.
