The first is a genuine Multi Zip.

I'm worried about the second. The creed stamp is very low on the pocket, and the serial number is is in a different font and format from other bags from the Fall and Winter production of the C plant. I'm posting a creed from October 1999 which is only a month away from the black Lula's Legacy, and you can see the difference not just in the serial number stamp, but also in the creed stamp - look at the Coach logo at the top. The one in the Lula's has the Coach name much larger than it should be. The other 9952's I'm finding have the leather pieces where the buckle is attached to the body of the bag not just sewn on, but also riveted, and the entire design of the attachment is different. There are no rivets on yours and the sewing job seems to be badly done. I don't think it's genuine.

No, it's fake. The serial number 012-3445 is on both my Fakes list here at tPF and on Daria48's list at Ebay, the hangtag is a crooked mess, the strap wasn't made by Coach, and the back shows the "elephant-skin" wrinkles from overstretching that you would never find in non-stress areas on a real Coach.

Did you happen to notice that the word "scrtches" in the creed is missing the letter "A"? aAnd "Markings" should never be split or hyphenated in US-made bags.

I was suspicious about this bag especially. I really did not like the stitching on the leather pieces of the drawstring, the other stuff I don't know enough about. I am fairly confident it is a fake also. Sigh!

Wow! I would love it. I just found one of the smaller poppy bags in a thrift store. This was the first time I've seen one IRL. It cost more than I've ever spent on one item at a thrift store but it is gorgeous!
