i think they're both ok and there's only one serious thing wrong
excited to pay and get them if they're real

I know there was probably a reason why I was skipped, but just in case you missed it.
Sorry, I intended to come back and forgot.

The Coach bag looks okay.

That's fine, I was wondering :smile1:
Thanks my dear!

Wow! I would love it. I just found one of the smaller poppy bags in a thrift store. This was the first time I've seen one IRL. It cost more than I've ever spent on one item at a thrift store but it is gorgeous!
Sure, just pm me with your mailing info and I will send it out.
There are items in there I have never seen, it was really fun to go through!
(Don't worry I am not a nut case, I'm a legit seller and huge buyer on ebay in case you guys did
not figure it out already...lol)

Just for everyone's information - In the past few months you have saved me from listing 3 bogus bags
that I would have thought were authentic (and I do my research too, but I guess it was not enough), so I am really appreciative!!
If I am not a zillion percent sure I come here now with my stuff to get it okayed first.

Saw this one and I'm sure it's fake. Serial number is off. I'll report if it is. Thank

Definitely fake - wrong style number in the serial (it should be 9063), invalid month code, year code in the serial is four years before the style was even made, creed is stamped too low on the pocket and is too puffy, hardware is wrong, strap grommets are off-center and too close to the end of the strap.

Holy moly! Could there be anything more wrong with it! Reported.

Thoughts? I was actually carrying my clay shoulder bag when I found this and the details match. I found it at work late last night and then had an event to attend and forgot about it till some internal ebay alarm woke me up this morning.

Anyone ever see anything like this before?

Please wait for other opinions because I'm not sure about this one.

The details do look good but I'm not sure about whether this style would have been made in Italy. And without a serial number, I can't check.

I agree, it looks OK but doesn't make sense. And so far I haven't found anything else like it. Usually there is something else somewhere about these weird ones.

I figure the best I can hope for on this one is can't be authenticated unless someone has seen it before.

It also doesn't explain the lack of a serial number on the creed of the bag you asked about.

11127 has a serial number on the creed as shown in this listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/65th-Annive...r-Legacy-Stripe-Satin-Bag-11127-/301017558281

And 11567 has a serial number on the creed as shown in this listing:

I've never seen it either. It looks like a Spectator version of the 11127, the only difference I can see is the creed and the direction of the striped lining on the bottom. It looks and "feels" genuine to me.

I'm surprised there's no serial number though, since the Italian plant was apparently still making limited-production bags with the new style longer numbers until around 2009. I can understand not using the regular gold-stamped creed from the other Legacy Shoulder Bags since Coach probably didn't think it was worth making one for that plant for what was probably a one-off. And thinking back to the Dakotas and Sheridans, I can almost understand why the Italians decided that serial numbers weren't important. ;)

There's also the possibility that the serial number wouldn't fit, or that it was actually a Limited Production item and the serial combined with the LE sequence number didn't fit the space.

ETA - Here's another apparently genuine mid-2000s Italian-made bag with no serial:
