Comment: I got up at 4:00am this morning to bid on this and am so excited to have won it! Your opinion as always will be very much appreciated. (welcome back Whateve you have been conspicuous by your absence!)
It looks good. Congratulations! Thanks for the welcome back! I'm back but I'm trying to not spend as much time on the net as I was.

I've never seen it either. It looks like a Spectator version of the 11127, the only difference I can see is the creed and the direction of the striped lining on the bottom. It looks and "feels" genuine to me.

I'm surprised there's no serial number though, since the Italian plant was apparently still making limited-production bags with the new style longer numbers until around 2009. I can understand not using the regular gold-stamped creed from the other Legacy Shoulder Bags since Coach probably didn't think it was worth making one for that plant for what was probably a one-off. And thinking back to the Dakotas and Sheridans, I can almost understand why the Italians decided that serial numbers weren't important. ;)

I have photos of one that was made in China but I am headed into work and won't be home until after midnight and that is, if I am lucky. It is a Spectator Legacy leather Shoulder Bag from 2007. I can't comment on authenticity.

Please help me authenticate this backpack.
The creed is so faint it is almost impossible to read the wording so I don';t know
where it was made.
You can see on the serial number how light and thin the imprinting is!
The number is M7I-9960
What plant would be "I" (capital i not numeral 1)
Thank you!

"I" would be Turkey. That one looks ok too.
