Hi,
Please help me to authenticate this bag
I was hesitating if it is authentic as the joining of "C" on each joining is not align.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you

Item Name: F21899 Coach Signature Stripe Pocket Tote

I don't see any problems, but more opinions are welcome since I'm not familiar with that style, and I'm not sure about one of the details. The Cs are NOT always going to match along the seams. Wherever you heard that, please disregard it because it's almost impossible to match the seams especially along a curve, and also trying to do it would mean wasting a lot of fabric.

Please read the Salearea Guide about Authenticity Guide Myths for more information

I was going to start cleaning this up to list and realised that I hadn't had it authenticated. I bought it quite a while ago so am hoping its OK.
Soho belted pouchette (?) 4156. The creed is very lightly stamped so almost impossible to see in some places.

Sorry having problems uploading more than one pic so will have to re-post tomorrow with dropbox

What I can see so far seems ok.

Item Name (if you know it): Coach Satchel Bag? Im not sure
Link (if available): No Link - i found this at the place i work for, and I'm not sure if it is real coach?

Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)

Good morning!
Can I get some opinions on this vintage wallet?
(It's definitely genuine leather)
It looks like the snap says "GIOCCA ITALY" or GIOCCI ITALY" somethin like that.
Thanks in advance!:smile1:

The style doesn't look familiar. Older wallets especially if they don't have any distinctive details that can narrow them down to a certain line or time period are almost impossible to authenticate or even identify. It's hard to see in the pictures but is there any kind of design or pattern on the fabric lining?

I'm also concerned about the Coach stamp on the inside. It's almost always much closer to one of the bottom corners in older wallets, and the stamp is sometimes a bit bigger. The Coach stamp is the only thing I can see that indicates it might be a Coach and we've seen plenty of fakes where that stamp has been added to a generic wallet.

I'd have to call it Questionable at best.

ETA - I'm adding a blow-up of a style 4888 French Purse from the mid-1990s, it's the closest style I can find to yours. This one doesn't have an ID window (I don't remember any older small purses having them) but imagine if it did, the Coach stamp would be in the lower right corner instead of the left - compare where the stamp is located in relation to the corners. I've never seen a stamp off-center in a wallet panel, they're either in the exact center of the panel or in one corner.

I do have one mid-90s Madison wallet with a "Fiocchi Italy" snap but I don't know how common those would have been. From what I've found on Google they were used by many different manufacturers - Chanel, Gucci, Jimmie Choo, and more.

Is this authentic? I believe I saw a post with another green duffle with an upside down prefix, this one looks like it has a different grommet color from the buckle.

Looks really bad to me. Specifically the craftsmanship (not just on the strap where the "leather" was just folded over and sewn). Even though it's not recommended to rely upon: The hang-tag is horrible.

Although Hyacinth's picture shows a wallet of a different style, I'm also bothered by the imprint location of the Coach stamp (too close to the center, yet not centered). Another difference and perceived problem I'm seeing is in the stitching on the flap as well as the shape of the flap closure.

I agree with both of u unfortunately for me.
I was bothered by the placement of the stamp, it IS on the right (not centered) but too high up.
There is a pattern on the lining, but nothing I have ever seen on a Coach wallet or bag.
It will be added to my "bad" pile...too late for me to get reimbursed but at least NOW
I am more diligent.
Thank yoU!!
