The first one is authentic. It is from the late 70s or early 80s. The second one appears authentic. I would feel more comfortable if I could read the style number. It looks like one of the grommets is missing. The seller doesn't mention that in the listing, which would make me uneasy about the seller's honesty.

Thanks again Whateve, you have a sharp eye! I totally missed the grommet. I had concerns about the creed too. Was there a Coach plant in Hunguary at one time? Anyway, I appreciate your assistance! ;)

You're welcome! Yes, there was a plant in Hungary and the creed shows the correct code for that plant. It was the style number I was concerned with. The 8 looks like a 5 to me.

Thanks Hyancith. I wondered as well; but all the color loss is where expected from average use and all the stitching seems to be the same color (inside & out). Will report back when seen IRL. I'm hopeful it's the lighting conditions. Thanks for the pics. They are very helpful. Have a great day!

I just want to comment that I can see that the style number shows as 9085 and the U plant code matches Hungary.

Hello..I am pretty new here and to Coach. .My best friend bought a Legacy Duffle from a seller on Amazon and is now questioning if it is authentic. It does not have any kind of *made in* tag at all. I apologize if I am posting in the wrong spot. Thanks so much:)
