I don't see any problems with any of them. None of them are vintage. The first and third were both made in 1998, and the city bag was made in 2002.

Thank you. You are right, I was being liberal in my concept of vintage. I'm still trying to read through threads right now to figure out years and serial numbers.

To report this fake, click on "see original listing." Then on the right side of the screen, just above the description is a "Report item" button. When you click on it, it will give you several options. For category, pick "Copyright and Trademark," then "counterfeit Item or authenticity disclaimer," then "counterfeit, fake or replica items." In the description section, you can say serial number not in correct format, or creed says made in US and of glove tanned leather, neither of which are true, or pattern mismatched at seams. You have to be creative to fit it in the limited number of characters they allow.

You're welcome. I only mentioned it because for some people it matters. The leather on the classic designs from the 90's and early 2000's is as nice and sometimes nicer than the leather on true vintage bags.

You're right. It ended without a sale. You can report the completed listing but also, watch for rdonawa to relist.

Hi Hyacinth,

My I ask you a question about Taft handbag I purchased on *bay a few days ago?

The seller sent me a message that she did not ship the bag because she thought it was fake.

So I asked why did he/she think it was fake and here is the response:

"the leather looks great, nice and thick. The stamp also looks real but the buckle has no stamped logos"

Did Taft handbags have the Coach logo stamp back then? I believe the bag was made in 2001. I have several other style bags from 1996 and 1998 and they do not have the stamped logo.
