Can you help me authenticate this purse? I have not seen one like this before.

It's authentic.
Authentic? I wonder if the hang tag is the wrong color also...

I believe that the bag is authentic but other opinions are welcome.

As for the color difference in the hangtag, remember that hangtags can be lost and replaced and the replacement might vary in color from the original. In fact, there have been instances where replacement hangtags have been fakes that were (knowingly or not) attached to an authentic bag. And the opposite can happen too; a genuine hangtag can be attached to a fake to "prove" authenticity of the fake.

Also, what do you think of this one? I cannot imagine that it still has tags?

It's not unusual to find classic and even vintage bags with tags. Personally it wouldn't matter to me if it still was in the original gift wrapping - I would never buy from that seller. Read their Negs and Neutrals at Toolhaus.org, although it's improved recently they have had too many problems and unhappy customers for me to recommend them in any way:

Good Morning again,

I was trying to authenticate the purse and I read the first post. The eBay listing number is 151120429349. The listed photos were limited in scope so I took some this morning and they are attached. The hardware is brass. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the extra photos! It looks like a Chadwick Satchel, style 9928 from around 1993. Here's Coach's listing from the Fall 1993 catalog:

Please authenticate these two ebay listings. Thanks!

I wanted to add that this is not an extra large bag. This is a Helen's Legacy, which is a medium sized bag. It is much smaller than the current duffle or the duffle sac, which could be described as extra large.

I found another listing on ebay that almost had me fooled.
I actually got a bad feeling when I saw the creed though, something about the font
and then I remembered the hippie crescent bag I had presented here for authentication.
The prefix is the same again!
Also the lining does not look right, I think I've only seen this style with signature linings.
So maybe this should be reported?

I think you are right, it is fake.

I'm going to report it. Is there anything special you should say,
in the past my reported bags remained listed
I'm not sure how much attention they pay to what you say. I think that if a bag is reported, then they will at least look at it. The more people that report a listing, the more likely it will be removed. I have reported several items that don't get removed. It's the more obvious fakes that more likely to get removed.

For this bag, I would say incorrect lining and invalid creed. I would be surprised if there were any plants operational in the US in 2003.

okay thanks.
Interestingly, I see the most OBVIOUS fakes going all the way through to conclusion.
I'm talking NEWER STYLES, the contemporary bags like fake MADISON ASHLEY styles,
etc. People are paying near $100 for these garbage bags! I can't believe that Coach's own spotters
let these get by. It is the older bags that are hardest to authenticate.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach Bag?

Genuine, but I don't know the name. Your guess is probably pretty close.
