The colors look wrong to me, even making allowances for differences in lighting and monitor settings, the Flower and Heart look like they're the same color in the photo but they're not on the genuine keychain. The chain's links aren't the right shape which makes the chain too long even though it has the right number of links, the charms are too big in proportion to the keyring, and the font used for the Coach logo on the hangtag isn't right either. The hangtag's surface should also be smoother.

Close but no cigar. Here's Coach's pic, which matches my genuine one including how the colors appear, at least on the ones made for the full-price stores. It's always possible that Coach cut a few corners on versions they may have made for the outlets but I can only go by what I have in front of me.

All right. Thank you so very much! I thought it looked kinda funny.

Comments: The metal hanging tag and the coach tag inside do not seem right to me. Your help would be highly appreciated!

I'm new to both this forum and to coach bags. I have an appointment with someone to pick up this bag tonight, but am wondering if someone can verify it's authenticity.

Item Name: Gallery Tweed

I know the pictures aren't the best, but that is what I was sent. In the first three pictures the color looks different from what I have seen on line (even the hardware looks silver toned), but on the 4th picture it looks more accurate (and the hardware looks gold toned). I also notice a loose/hanging thread on the bottom right inside tag.

Thanks!

Wait for more opinions but it does not look genuine. The style number looks like 10337 but the genuine bags with that style number are different and don't have a flap. The one you bought looks like style number 10340, but the stitching on the front and around the creed patch inside the purse is very poor quality compared to a genuine Coach. And the metal hangtag is not the one that came with this style.

I've posted pictures of both genuine styles with those numbers, 10337 on the top and 2 different colors of style 10340 below it along with a photo of a genuine creed patch and the inside of the bag showing how the zipper for the inside pocket is supposed to be sewn - that inside pocket zipper is very badly done on your bag, and that poor quality could NOT have come from a Coach plant. There should also be 2 lines of stitching that go up the center of the flap from the turnlock to the top of the bag.

I believe your bag is counterfeit and another of our experts has said the same.

I think the creed may say #12857, which I think may have only been made for factory.

Do you know what year coach started to make station bag? I found a station bag with a creed look like this

Please help me to authenticate this bag. Thank you very much

Coach started making the station bag in the 80's. However, I don't feel comfortable with the font of those numbers.

I'm not comfortable with that serial number font either, and I don't remember ever seeing a "3" shaped like that in any Coach product.

Station bags can be hard to authenticate since they don't have any complicated details. But we need to see more photos since nothing can be authenticated with just a creed photo. Can you post the link where you found the bag, along with clear photos of the turnlock and area around it, the full back and front of the bag, and the back of the turnlock where it's attached to the inside part of the front pocket? Maybe Whateve also has areas she would like to see in photos.

I agree that the bag is fake.

If there's a reporting function on that website, please report so someone doesn't get ripped off.

@ Whateve: I'm not seeing anything that looks like 12857. I read it as 10337.
