I have more! (And will probably have even more till I manage to snag a few.) So sorry for all the requests... I truly appreciate all your help! :flowers:

Both look fine. Neither are vintage. The saddle bag was made in 1997 and the city bag was made in 2000.

Thanks so much! It's roughly 8" H X 9 1/2" W. I don't really *need* a name for it, but it'd be nice to know what my bag's called.

Also, Hyacinth, I love your vintage Coach guides on eBay! They were what led me here. :-)

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the Guides! :smile1:

Yours is a Saddlery Bag from 1986 or 1987, here's Coach's catalog listing

Thanks. Doesn't it seem odd that a limited edition of 40 would be produced over a period of 4 months? The current ebay listing has a creed beginning with L07 and the one asked about before has a creed beginning with B08. Unless it wasn't that limited. Maybe they made more that didn't have the numbered hangtag.

I don't know since I never really paid attention to them. AFAIK they were only sold at the Bleecker Street boutique so the supply was easy to control.

Item: Vintage crescent ?

Item No: 200957417479

Seller: duigs1977

Comment: I had a good feeling about this one so let my heart rule my head and bought it even though it only had one pic in the listing. I have asked the seller for more photos before it is shipped but in the meantime I'd appreciate your views about what it could be. The serial number is: DJC-9014

We need to see actual photos of the creed and serial number. The number you posted isn't valid, it doesn't have a year code.

Hyacinth--Add me to the list of fans of your ebay guides! I just studied up and learned how the serial numbers work after whateve advised a couple "vintage" bags I was looking at weren't actually vintage.

Now, I have a found a couple more that actually are vintage! (I think.) ;)

Here I have two bags that are really interest me. First one is a station bag, by the number is seems one was made before 1994, however the coach Creed is not in the main compartment. Is it normal and authentic?

The second bag is a vintage city willis. The hang tag bothers me. Please tell me the bag is authentic, cause I really love it. Thank you for all of your help!!!

I don't what style the first one is. It appears authentic and was made between 1988 and 1993. The second is style #9235 crescent bag. It could be from the 60's. The third one is not vintage. It is a Rambler's Legacy from 2001. It has the style number in the creed. You won't see nickel hardware on a vintage bag. Even though it isn't vintage, it was made in the US. The leather on these bags is usually very nice.

It is not normal for the creed to be stamped inside the pocket but not unheard of. That in itself wouldn't mean the bag wasn't authentic. I would like to see more pictures to see more details. From what I can see of the city Willis, it looks okay. I can't really read the creed. The hangtag is never used to authenticate since it could have come from another bag. I don't see anything wrong with it.
