Could someone please authenticate these Coach heels?
I got lucky - again - at Goodwill.
Imprint inside was hard to photograph. It reads:
8.5 B
A3252 Havanah C07
Made in Italy
The Coach logo in the heel lining is mostly rubbed off, but embossing remains and looks like others I've seen.
Name and style are pretty obvious...Is 07 the year of manufacture?
Any info is much appreciated...Thanks in advance!

Ebay won't do anything and perhaps, that's a good thing. With this obvious non-disclosure, the next buyer of the "mint" bag will be unhappy and might even NEG the seller, especially if the looks at the feedback and sees that the seller relisted without disclosing the paint.

The seller won't be selling long if she doesn't learn that buyers would rather have items be "better than described" than be disappointed because the seller lied. Buyers would have have flaws over-described than not described at all.

As for her "set of big ones," I assume you're referring to her boobacakes, right?

:roflmfao:

It really stinks that eBay will let yet another person get snookered - or is it boobered?

Good Morning,

There is a good chance that the seller has no idea what she is selling. I have seen that a lot. I tried suggesting that some of them post a photo of the creed and they ignored the advice so they will keep doing what they do. The shoes look great! Hope they are really Coach! :-)

I purchased a vintage red Madison 4412 but I have no idea what the style is called. I am hoping someone will know. I have a 4404 Chapin and a 4408 Savoy (thank you for the info, Hyacinth) but do not know what the 4412 is called. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Even though she tried to hide the evidence, you can still see the paint in her photo of the strap mounting's d-ring if you look closely, the rings are supposed to be brass-colored.

This is a good sign, but watch for relists:
"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available"

Surely not? Does "no damage" include cutting and pasting a creed?!

Item: vintage coach cross body

Item no:370884741747

Seller: mia123jo

Link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/vintage-...ge_Handbags_Purses&hash=item565a740a73&_uhb=1

Freakin' unbelieveable!

mia123jo has NO business selling Coach products if she can't even tell when a phony patch has been GLUED in a phony purse, and NEITHER of them were made by Coach - the creed patch was even cut from a fake! Plus, the buckle is wrong, the strap especially the ends are wrong, the stitches at the top of the inside pocket are all different lengths, and there's a reason she's hiding the turnlock.

Do NOT buy from mia123jo

Style 4412 is a Madison Bristol. It looks like the one you bought is missing the long shoulder strap.

In this case, it's the seller who's getting enough rope and if she continues to list this way, she'll be setting her possible non-future on ebay.

Thanks so much!

Both are genuine. The second one could have been made any time between the very late 70s to 1987. The only date I would trust would be on a store receipt. The paperwork and stuffers that came with the bag could have several different copyright dates but that doesn't necessarily mean the bag was made the same year as the copyright date. Most of those stuffers and sometimes even the mini catalog were used for several years before being replaced or updated, and copyrights are valid for a long time.

Thank you again!

They all look ok, and No, it shouldn't always be Letter Number Letter. Read the Salearea Coach Guides on both Serial Numbers and Creeds:

Hello Hyacinth,

I noticed that the long strap is missing but I probably won't need it. But...if anyone knows how to get a replacement, I would love that. I will ask Coach to send me a replacement hang tag. I don't supposed they have replacement straps too? I have updated my list with the correct style name. I love the vintage Madison bags and wish I could buy them all. :-)
