AUTHENTICATE this COACH

[Hyacinth]

This is a style I'm unfamiliar with and the creed pre-dates 1994. It's in such amazing condition for its age, I figured I'd best get it looked at.

Item: some kind of Clutch
Purchased at thrift shop
6" H x 9" W x 1.5" D with an outer zip pocket and outer slip pocket
Interior Creed # is 1015-933

It seems to be a genuine Barclay Tote from 1997.

Hyacinth...did this ever come with a snap closure versus the turn-lock? I have an almost identical one to this, but different color and a snap...pre model/serial number.

Yes it did. The original version of the Barclay Tote from 1991 came with a Springlock. The 1997 version was a remake since the original had been discontinued in the early 90s.

I agree as long as the watermarked (lower right corner) pictures are the seller's own pics of the bags.

If the "F" is stamped on the creed on the right side of the hyphen (at the front of the style number), it's a MFF (made for factory) bag.

If the F is at the beginning of the serial number on the left side of the hyphen, it's the month code indicating a bag made in June.

If the F is at the start the second set of numbers after the dash. An F at the beginning of the creed is just a month code. Although recently Coach has been putting F creeds on bags that are identical to boutique bags if they are sold at factory prices.
