Item: Vintage Small black leather coach

Seller: kissxoxo

Comments: Stumbled across this the other night when there was only a few minutes left on the auction, so I took a chance and bid. Now I'm nervous! No good picture of the creed, but she did give me a serial number F3z-9564. Checked it and it seemed to match this bag, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

It looks fine.

The pictures of the purse aren't very clear but it doesn't look like any Coach I've seen. The zipper pull on the inside is definitely wrong. It is impossible to read the creed or see any other details that would further prove that it isn't authentic.

I don't know a lot about keychains but there are several things that make me doubt its authenticity. I've never seen one with that star pattern on the reverse sides. The Coach lozenge and the font of the word "Coach" on the reverse looks like other fakes I've seen. The C's on the front are the wrong shape.

I agree. The keychain is a complete fake, for the reasons Whateve mentioned, and the shape of the Cs are nothing like any of Coach's trademarked C fonts. It's a bad ripoff of the Summer Mix keychain style 92079 shown below which was only made in that blue and green combination. If you can report fakes at that site please do so.

The white bag is also a total fake. That style was never made by Coach. and none of the hardware is even close to the designs Coach uses, Again, please report if you can. That seller is either dishonest or irresponsible and other site members need to be warned.

Regarding the keychain, it's absolutely fake and the seller knows it's fake because she's lying about having purchased from Coach. And when you asked her about authenticity, why would she answer that it's authentic "as far as I know?" Having bought from Coach (supposedly), she'd KNOW it's authentic.

This is what the weekend keychain is supposed to look like:

Thank you so much, ladies! The real key chain is super cute!! :D

I bought some Coach purses and would like to know if they are real. If I would have found this site first I would have checked before I got them. The 2 patchworks came with the wallets. I could not find anything on the small black one. It does not have a creed patch in it. First time buying Coach so I hope I did good......:)

and In Advance....Very Much Appreciated for any help! :p

The box isn't from that bag, it looks like the stamp shows 9966, but it's not 9061. There's no problem with the silver hardware but obviously without a creed pic that's all I can say. Silver hardware was available with almost all the classic leather styles after 1998. I don't see any problems other than no creed photo.

The one that you'd asked about before just has too many mistakes to be real. A lot of fakes are almost identical to genuine Coaches in stitching and leather quality, it's the small details that they don't understand like serial number codes and using the right hardware and the correct length zipper where the fakes usually screw up.

Seller gjerame1970 - I find it interesting that the seller uses "Caoch" in both the title and the description. Makes me wonder if she's hiding something, trying to stay under the radar for a reason or is circumventing restrictions.

Thanks for including the seller name-I have been having a hard time with the board logging me out when I post and I didn't follow the usual format because i didn't want to lose what I posted-and I caught that name, but I didn't realize she did it twice!

I have an authentic Rambler's Legacy in burgundy with nickel hardware made in 1999 in the US. There is no seam in the edging on the bottom of the bag. The leather is super smooth. If you want pictures of anything to compare with, please let me know.

Just for the record, I'm not trying to prove the one I posted is real by using this bag as an example, I have questions about the authenticity of this listing, but no way to prove it. I asked the seller to send me a picture of the creed and the attached tag. He promised to do so and never did. If I had been able to get that I probably would have posted the bag sooner.

The stitching on the back looks like the stitching on my bag, there is something about leather on the close up shot of the strap that looks like mine too. The misspelled title caught my eye too, and the mismatched box.

I mentioned the nickel hardware for two reasons. One is that with all the time I spent looking for information on a burgundy bag with nickel hardware, all I ever found was brass. However, I know that even if never appeared out there it doesn't mean it didn't exist or wasn't special ordered. The second was just that it matched mine and it makes me wonder if there aren't a few burgundy/brass fake bags out there and I thought I'd let you know.

Item: New Coach 21194 Legacy Archival Rambler Black Cherry $348 Free Shipping
Listing number: 330882898990
Seller: hnpbags1

Comments: So the item listing is obviously incorrect for this bag, but is the bag itself (the penny #19914) authentic? I'm a little wary that the seller has a picture of the tag, which lists the wrong color for the bag it is on, and then lists it as a completely different bag. Also, the BIN price is more than the bag is worth in the first place.

The penny looks authentic. Don't you think this could be black cherry, rather than carnelian, since the tag says that? You can't judge authenticity by how much the seller charges.
