Thanks whateve. Somehow I thought it would be different. I think this bag is probably a fake!

It seems to be ok.
Well I wondered about the creed number font and after you mentioned the snap I tried to look for this bag style that showed the snap. The ones I found that you could see the snap, were as you said stamped with USA on them. I think you are probably right that this may be a counterfeit. Of course the seller listed as "authentic" but I know that doesn't mean a thing! Is there any questions I could ask the seller that could help prove one way or the other? Thanks for your help!
Hyacinth said:Not really, because there's no detail I can think of that would prove it either way. A lot of bags just can't be authenticated, there isn't enough known or enough details photographed and saved of genuine ones.
Hyacinth, I certainly do appreciate your time and help. I've been looking at many of these bags on eBay. So far the creed patch and number on this one is different than all the others I've looked at. Throw in the snap difference and I'm smelling fake all over it! It also doesn't feel like the soho leathers I've had either. It's not soft leather, in fact it's on the stiff and heavy side. I was hoping it just needed a bath and conditioner but it looks like it needs a trip to the garbage can.
A lot of the light-colored fakes have that stiff feeling, that's never a good sign either.
My fake green city bag is stiff too. I'm still hoping to get my money back. The seller said she would take it back as long as I had proof that it was fake. I sent her the links here but she said she hasn't had time to look yet.

If you don't hear from her by the weekend you may want to consider starting a Dispute.
She just refunded half my money this morning. When I return the bag, she will refund the rest plus the return shipping. She says she likes the bag and will be happy to have it back.
Good morning Ladies! Hyacinth I tried to see as many bags like this Soho Buckle as I could for details. I also did a search on the information on the snap (OK0973628
OKPTA1519426) and am finding others have questioned this same snap as to the authenticity of their bags. I just haven't been able to find any sound responses. This snap is in question from LV all the way to Fossil. Besides the questionable snap details and creed # font, I found another area that may tip the scales to on my bag;
The inside bottom of all the bags I could see well enough has the liner covering the seams on each side and sewn down "over" the seam. This bag has the liner cut to barely fit "between" the seams leaving the edges exposed on both ends. I'm including a picture of this bag and some links to others being sold for your comparison. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look and give your opinion. Thank you for your time!
