If this is authentic can someone please give me a little more info on these as I don't remember anything gathered coming in this size and the strap like that. TIA :smile1:

I don't pay much attention to wallets but the quality of the pleating on this one really seems poor, especially in the third photo that shows the back. The pleats are all different sizes, and there's a lot of stitching showing around the edges. Compare it to the genuine Ziparound in this photo.

I'm NOT asking anyone to report it but I sure wouldn't buy it without verifying the style.

Hi Ladies. Please authenticate this bag. I'm a little concerned about the creed number. It doesn't look right to me. The rest of the bag does look like others of the same style and has the same measurements so I'm hoping it's ok. It measures 9x9x5 with an up to 13" drop. If authenticate, would it be a "Waverly" or Soho buckle tote? TIA for your opinion.

Soho Buckle Bag would be the correct name. And I really can't be sure about the creed and serial number since there isn't a similar one in my files to compare it to.

If you own the bag, is there any way you can try to get a clear photo of the magnetic snap at the top so that all the information stamped on it like the maker's name and patent number are readable? It still may not help but it's the only thing that might. TIA!

Yes, I have the bag. Here is the snap (both pieces) - hope it helps! :-/

I have a large duffle that has the same month, year and plant code. Would the creed font be the same on it?

Thanks for the photos, I know it can be really hard to get decent close-ups of those snaps.

What worries me is that for the last 20 years Coach has used basically the same type of magnetic snap on their bags except for the Dakotas and Sheridans, and except for those two lines (and maybe one or two other early Italian ones, no photos available) the ones made before production switched to China have all had vaid US Patent numbers engraved on them. The number on yours isn't a US number and isn't from the 2 manufacturers Coach bought the snaps from. So far I've checked about half a dozen known genuine bags and haven't found that snap on any of them. I did find it in one fake though.

It's not much of a sample but it's enough to concern me. I really can't say for sure either way but it's possible yours is counterfeit, but it's impossible to prove it.

Well I wondered about the creed number font and after you mentioned the snap I tried to look for this bag style that showed the snap. The ones I found that you could see the snap, were as you said stamped with USA on them. I think you are probably right that this may be a counterfeit. Of course the seller listed as "authentic" but I know that doesn't mean a thing! Is there any questions I could ask the seller that could help prove one way or the other? Thanks for your help!
