Good morning everyone! Hope you're all getting ready to enjoy Thanksgiving tomorrow. I have two vintage Coaches that I'd love for you to look at. First up:

I agree, yours definitely looks unfinished compared to the others.

I contacted the seller and she's offered to refund my $$. I'm still waiting to see if she wants the bag back. Thanks for all your time and efforts in helping authenticate so many bags for so many people! :-)

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I really do appreciate the time you have spent providing responses to the authenticity questions I have posted - I know I have posted more than my fair share in the past few weeks! Have a great holiday!

Genuine, a Quincy Bag style 9919 from the early 1990s.

It looks ok

Thanks so much Hyacinth! I think I have all the rehab projects I need for the winter :smile1: I am putting myself on a ban until I get at least two done (in theory, ha ha)! Of course, all that goes out the window if I spot a Cashin bag!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday, and again, much thanks for all you do on this thread!

As we approach this Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful for the work and service the Coach authenticators provide.

Thank you VERY much for your tireless work to stamp out fakes and counterfeit handbags.

And....Happy Thanksgiving to TPFers who celebrate this holiday.

Comments: Please authenticate these bags. I believe they are real because I compared them to similar bags (different auctions/colors) that you previously authenticated. I already purchased both of them. Thanks in advance.

Here's a Thanksgiving giggle for all our wonderful authenticators...

I'm on vacation visiting family on Hilton Head Island, SC and yesterday did a little thrift shopping...usually very good here. In one shop I found several nice older Coach bags - all marked "FAKE" and priced between $25 and $75. All three bags I looked at were made in the United States, one was even Coach Leatherware. Based on what I have learned here and collecting for years, I asked the nice lady why she thought they weren't genuine.

Please make sure you're all sitting down...Her answer: "I took them to the Coach store and they said, if they're not made in CHINA, they're fake!"

I told her about the wealth of knowledge on this forum and suggested she find out the CORRECT answer to her authentication questions.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Thanks for your assistance. I hope the pictures are clear enough, the belt is older and a bit worn, so it was hard to get a clear pic of the Coach logo on the belt.
