No, there's no plant code list and I'll never post one, for several reasons; first, because Coach has never and will never issue an official list, also because Coach sometimes used the same code for more than one plant, and because I'm not going to supply that information to the counterfeit makers and distributors who read this forum

Questionable details include the Solid Brass stamp on the buckle among other things. Again, I don't want to mention them because I'm still not sure whether or not Coach ever used them.

I'm still debating if I want the bag colour or want to hold out for darker, but I have been dying for a bag shaped like this with the cross body strap. Ends in a few hours...Was reading the creed and it says made with natural cowhide leather (I'm guessing that means untreated?) and then trimmed with bridle leather (noo idea?) What does this mean?!?! That might be a deciding factor if I get the bag too since I kind of need it to hold up in the snowy Canadian winter and this one sounds a bit fancy LOL!

This one didn't appear to be stained but is a little worn (mostly the creed fading some and you can tell the area around the clasp is worn).

Any information on these two bags would be great. If they are real I'd love to know the style, when they were likely produced, etc. Anything would be great, I know nothing about purses, I just know anything I carry is going to end up icky!

Whoops, forgot measurements on the second bag. Purse is approximatly 11 and 1/2 inches across and approximately 8 inches tall and around 2 to 3 inches wide on the side. Hanging the purse on a hook, the shoulder strap is approximatly 22 inches from the hook to the top of the bag. All measurements are approximate and were taken with the bag full of the stuffing (I'm assuming is used to keep the bags shape) which was inside the bag when I got it.

It's a Bonnie's Legacy Small Zip Satchel but I can't answer your questions about durability. You may want to ask at the Rehab and Rescue thread if anyone is familiar with the style and noticed problems with durability, water marks, etc.

In the future you may only want to post one photo each of the front, back, one side and creed stamp and serial number and the panel under the flap. If we need more photos we can ask. Or at least post the pics in a separate album and make it Public so we can just scroll through the photos.

Convertible Clutch, style 9635 made some time between the late 70s to the late 80s

I am terrible at taking measurements, I'm not really sure what to measure. Purse is approximately 17 inches across and approximately 13 inches tall and around 5 to 6 inches wide on the side. Hanging the purse on a hook, the shoulder strap is approximately 15 inches from the hook to the top of the bag. All measurements were taken with the bag full of the stuffing (I'm assuming is used to keep the bags shape) which was inside the bag when I got it. Not sure if that's where I needed to measure, and they are pretty approximate - I'm terrible with the measuring tape.

Sorry know that's a lot of pictures, I'm a bit obsessive. I had a PDF of all the pictures together but can't upload a PDF here.

As you can see this bag has some staining. I'm wondering if it turns out to be authentic if anyone has an suggestions on how to clean? I know nothing about cleaning leather, I probably wouldn't want to try for fear of damaging.

I found both of these purses at a yard sale, and I really know nothing about purses. I would like to know if they are real, as if they are real I will likely sell them rather then carry them. If they are fakers, I won't mind carrying them. But I work in a service shop so anything I carry is apt to get greasy/dirty and will pick up fumes (gasoline and smoke are not kind smells!) so it would be a shame to carry real vintage authentic bags. But if they are fake I won't mind getting them all dirty Will post second thread for other bag.

It's called a Light Tote from the Lightweight line, made probably in the late 1980s. Style number was 4065. Search specifically for information on cleaning leather from the Lightweight or Soho bags.

Some time between 1988 and 1993. That's as close as I can get.
