This one is so beat up - I had no idea you could even abuse a handbag so much. Ink everywhere - it will be a rehab challenge! The leather is so soft - if it is not authenticate or doesn't clean up, I'll be covering this one in fur and beads for a friend who would love it funked up that way.

I think this one is a Soho Fletcher. The leather of the creed is really worn, so it is hard to read in the picture, but in strong light with a magnifier, it appears to read B7P 4150, and the country of manufacture is Costa Rica. Dimensions are 11x7.5x4.5. You can see lots of ink marks in the photos; I couldn't bear to photograph the ink explosion on the bottom of the inside. If this one cleans up it will be a miracle!

Looks like a genuine Fletcher to me too. Good luck! :D

I believe this thrift store purchase is a Companion, J0P-9076, so made in September of 2000, and according to the creed, country of manufacture is Costa Rica. Measurements ( approximate because it is so out of shape) are 7.5x7.5x2.5. Assuming this one is authentic and will rehab well, it will be raffled at my school to raise funds for the robotics team I coach.

Also genuine.

I love it too! (trying to visualize teaching a pig to sing, lol)...and I am one of those ladies (hopefully y'all think I'm nice!)...I'm so addicted to Coach I buy and sell to surround myself in beauty. :-)

Lol! I think you are nice!!! I'm afraid my husband thinks I'm addicted too but I'm sure he wrong! ;-)

Item: Bonnie Cashin Red Leather Shoulder Bag
Listing #: 180877603907
Seller: energyambit

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for the help.

I have no information about the bag except that's it's an authentic Coach bag.

Whether it's "Bonnie Cashin" OR from the 1960's is a question I can't answer. (I have a bag with a similar mark that was dated to the mid to late 1970's).

It's not "one of a kind" and I know that because I owned that same bag in a different color and sold it years ago.

You may want to wait for other opinions.

the red one was authenticated (thanks!) but i'm pretty sure the black one is knock off. the "style number" part of the creed says 9927 which is willis but this is not a willis. it does say made in the us and the rest of the creed looks fine but the inside zipper is a weird cheap-looking black one and the D-rings on the side are super skinny as is the dogleash on the strap and both of those pieces are fading from brass to silver (instead of the normal way the brass seems to age). here are some pics attached, i'd appreciate any help! thanks

I know I did my steps out of order :shame: but hoping you can authenticate this bag for me:

Comments: No idea what the name of this one might be - it has a unique serial number. Kind of looks like a Prairie, but not quite. Hoping I didn't pull the trigger too soon and that this one is authentic! Thanks!

The black one's fake, for all the reasons you gave. Remember, I said "The red one is ok. We need to see a photo of the creed in the black one to be sure."

Detachable straps aren't much help because straps can be replaced, but a creed with the wrong style or serial number is a big red flag. That's why we ask for creed photos. The brass at least on the D-rings shouldn't be discoloring that way either, and that strap wasn't made by Coach

oh yeah i remember sorry i didn't mean if it sounded accusatory, i only blame myself! thought it might've been ok since the red one is so i took the shot. thanks so much for your help, i guess i'll try to return (even though it says the seller doesn't accept returns but i don't think this is ok...)

Authentic, and seems to be in good condition. It's a Lenox Bag, style 9918, from 1992 or 93.

Sellers aren't allowed to sell fakes of any kind, and if she won't accept a return you need to begin a SNAD dispute through Ebay right away.
