Thank you again for your time and help. And sorry about the zipper talk and pictures, I was just trying to be detailed with my description, I did see your statement in purple but with the insane amount of zipper talk online I somehow felt the need to include it lol my bad.

No problem, unfortunately bad information tends to overpower the more accurate stuff. And if you read the Guide about YKK zippers you'll see why it drives me nuts when that kind of nonsense becomes "fact". I don't even want to think about how many thousands of people have bought fake bags because "the zipper says YKK and that means it's real". Or how many real bags with a different brand of zipper have been returned or reported as fakes.

Hi there, this is my british tan Coach Court. Please kindly authenticate and advise approximately what year it was made. I notice that, unlike my other court bag, the strap on this is not adjustable. Were they sometimes made with non-adjustable straps?
Approximate measurements: 9.5" x 8.5" x 3.5", strap measures about 43" including clasps.
Thanks in advance!

I know, and they're all over the place, not just in private groups. Every forum including this one and the ones at Ebay have been invaded by know-it-alls who usually claim to be former Coach employees and who either get everything completely wrong, or who wait until one of the real specialists has authenticated something before throwing in their own "expert" opinion, usually with a bunch of CAPS and exclaimation points just to show how sure they are.

When you find a place like that where idiots are allowed and encouraged to post and re-post any scrap of nonsense or BS that they find on the internet and the Admins refuse to control it or even accept that the information may be completely wrong, it's probably better to leave. Trying to change things is like trying to teach a pig to sing.

Lol!!! Love how you put that! But you are absolutely right. It's a shame tho as there are really nice ladies that just want to buy and sell their bags. :-\

The Court has used at least 2 different straps over the years, the 44-inch one wasn't adjustable. The bag is genuine.

I bought these two purses off of E-Bay and would like to verify that they are real Coach bags. Thanks again for your help!

Sorry, we don't have many people here who are qualified to authenticate newer styles.

You could try asking at Ebay's Shoes & Purses Discussion forum:

You don't have to memorize them, just save the text and the links so you know where to find them. Even I don't have them memorized and still re-read them once every month or two just to refresh my memory and see if any of the information may have changed - and I wrote them.

Thanks for writing them! I don't Intend to memorize every fake number but the general things to look for & general rules is even overwhelming but I will save it as you suggested. I want to remember all the exceptions & when things changed etc.
