You are welcome to post pictures, but if the prefix actually says ADK or ADR, then it's not authentic. There is always at least 1 number in the prefix.

Plus, style number 9965 belongs to an all leather bag and an all leather bag would not have "custom developed material..." as part of the creed wording.

Thank you for the information DemRam!
I cannot photograph the creed well enough to make posting a picture of it worthwhile, hence my transcription of it - it is also the most suspicious part of the bag.

Is there a good way of disposing these fakes without just throwing them away? Mine is still a decent leather purse, but I'll definitely take off the hang tag...I hate for something useful to go to a landfill, but I don't want someone to think it is real if they find it in a thrift store or charity shop.

I have never done this before and I hope it is correct.
Is this authentic?

It looks ok but I can't tell you what style it is without measurements.

BTW Greenpixie's first post in this thread explains what information we need from anyone needing an authentication. Posting the seller's name and the listing title and number helps in case someone else is also searching for that same listing or for information on that particular seller.

Then please don't donate it, because often donations of fake bags end up right back in circulation. You can write "FAKE, do not resell" inside with Magic Marker, or if it's still usualble without the creed stamp, cut out the pocket or patch where the stamp is. Or you can give it to one of the little girls in the family to use when playing Dress-up. Other people use their for gardening tools or as a carryall for crafting or pet supplies.

Please wait for someone more familiar with newer styles. If you need an answer quickly, you could ask at Ebay's Shoes & Purses forum, they have more posters there who have experience with newer styles:

Authentic?

I'm obsessed with this tera-cota color!! I'm thinking I like it in the Lindsey silhouette, and will try to snag a Maggie in Acorn as more of an every day bag. I will probably be asking you ladies to authenticate a few of these, so I thank you in advance your expertise! (and patience... lol).

Here's the ebay link:

Here are the close ups of the creed for this listing. Look ok??
