I have a lot of experience buying pre-loved LV and Gucci, but I'm very unfamiliar with Coach. Love this style/color bag, and I appreciate any help authenticating! I couldn't find what the "F" stood for in the second half of the Creed stamp when doing my research...

ebay item #160877483051

Here's a close up of the stamp as well...

TIA!

The F after the hyphen means that this bag was made for the factory outlet store. It is the outlet version of the boutique Madison Maggie bag. See the link below for more information:

I thought that's what it was, but couldn't seem to find my way back to the page I found that on! Prob going to list a few auctions for authentication. I'd love this bag, but from I read, the made for Factory Outlet bags don't have quite the same quality as the Full Price bags.

Mickalia may I suggest you ask for a picture of the creed patch on this bag before you change your mind. I purchased one in Cherry through the Coach online sale and it wasn't a made for factory but rather a Coach delete, (discontinued style.) Mine has a paper tag that has the "F" in front of the number but it doesn't have the "F" in the number on the creed patch. It is a gorgeous bag! :-)

There's always going to be a difference of opinion on that. What I've personally noticed is that it's the fancier and fussier leathers used for the bags from the full-price stores that seem to have the most problems with things like cracking, peeling and discoloration. The Factory bags sometimes use less expensive linings or even fabrics but so far I've never had a bag, wallet or any other item made for the Factory stores give me any problems.

Authentic?

I'm obsessed with this tera-cota color!! I'm thinking I like it in the Lindsey silhouette, and will try to snag a Maggie in Acorn as more of an every day bag. I will probably be asking you ladies to authenticate a few of these, so I thank you in advance your expertise! (and patience... lol).

Hello,
I found a "Coach" bag that I can't figure out, and I know next to nothing about the brand. The creed reads "This is a coach product. It was handcrafted in the United States from a custom developed material, trimmed with our classic gloved-tanned leather. This high quality durable fabric has been [illegible] withstand [illegible]. No. ADR 9965"
The term "gloved-tanned" seems odd - shouldn't it be glove-tanned? Also, the bag feels like leather, not neoprene, or was the neo-line convincingly leather-like? It is black, approximately 10"x11," has a flap completely covering the front without a closure or magnet, open back and front pockets, and zippered interior pocket. Any thoughts?
Thank you!

Comments: I don't like the fact that there's an M plant code, but it says that it's made in the US. I've seen some other M plant mix ups in the past though. Also, the dash under the "o" in No. seems a little off? I'm not terribly good at this, so any help is wonderful.

Comments: The creed on this looks more "faded" than usual, so I'm not to sure about this one.

Thanks for your help!!

You are welcome to post pictures, but if the prefix actually says ADK or ADR, then it's not authentic. There is always at least 1 number in the prefix.

Plus, style number 9965 belongs to an all leather bag and an all leather bag would not have "custom developed material..." as part of the creed wording.

As the first post in this thread states, all authentication requests MUST include photos. Please read post # 1.
