Yes I saw that too. But then the seller guaranteed its authenticity by offering a moneyback guarantee. What's really bothering me is the brass hardware. does coach make bags with brass hardware?

Coach does make bags with brass hardware. The still number is right BUT all the bags that I found that have orange are all on websites selling fakes. The ones that I found that are authentic are in neutral colors. It's your call if you want to risk it.

Just bought this bag but haven't paid yet. Hope someone can help me authenticate. Thanks so much!

Item: Coach 14505
Listing number:n/a

Comments: I think it's authentic. Just really need a second opinion

I'm not sure it's real. A few recent bags have had the wrong wording, but right now there is a flood of VERY accurate fakes coming through the Philippines, maybe from China, and anyone buying from Philippine sellers has to be REALLY careful.

Take a look at this other auction use a good magnifying glass if you have one to look at the creed patch:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-14505...849?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item19d1e99611

The shape of the patch itself is slightly different - the sides and corners are a bit rounded on the one you're asking about, but straight on the one I'm referring to. The creed on what I'll call the Real One has a prefix of a month code I can't read followed by 0993, and the creed looks like it says "made from the finest materials and leather". So it's not from the same plant, but the shape of the patch itself and quality and evenness of the creed stitching should be about the same.

Take a look at this one too:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-PEYTO...028?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item41662fe8ac
I know we always tell everyone not to base authenticity on the hangtag because they can be changed, but the one on "your" bag obviously belongs to it, and there are very slight differences between it and the one on the black bag.

I'm not sure yours is fake but it's a good possibility.

It also seems strange that Coach would use pink lining in a bag with orange leather trim. And I'm wondering why the seller has several designer name bags like Gucci but she isn't using the brand name in the auction title, they're listed as "GG". That usually means a seller is trying to avoid being noticed by Ebay.

Maybe anyone reading this who's familiar with Gucci styles can also take a look at this seller:
http://www.ebay.ph/sch/bag_minded/m..._trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562
This seller had at least THREE confirmed FAKE GUCCI's here at tPF- this post and the next two:
http://forum.purseblog.com/gucci/au...format-posts-1-a-689655-311.html#post20629638

This completed Coach may also have been fake:
http://www.ebay.ph/itm/CC-Coach-bla...4?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_211&hash=item3a75bbc384

And did you read the seller's Feedback at Toolhaus.org?
http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=bag_minded&Dirn=Received+by&ref=home

Unfortunately it's hard to search our forums here because of the dash in the seller's name but DO NOT BUY FROM
BAG_MINDED , "BAG MINDED" OR ANY PHILIPPINE SELLER MENTIONED IN THE TOOLHAUS REPORT SUCH AS:

moonlight*05
The seller apparently lives in BAGUIO, Philippines

The more I see, the more sure I am that it's fake.
If you leave Feedback, please say that the bag was confirmed FAKE and you refused to pay.

I noticed that too! I have been searching for "orange", "apricot" coach 14505s and I'm not that satisfied with the search results I'm getting. Thank you for your help as well!

Isn't that the one from over on ebay shoes board?

Do you mean the one in the "Help please! is this an authentic Coach purse?" thread?

I'm not sure, the poster didn't give a seller's name or listing numnber and at least one of the listings in her history isn't accessible to buyers in the US.

I guess the folks at Ebay Philippines want to save all the "good" fakes for their own countrymen. They NEVER remove fakes, this seller should have been banned ages ago.

ETA - Sorry, I didn't know there were 2 posts with the same title! Yes, it's one of them.

Haha congrats! I really don't mind when I don't win, and tbh, once I've really set my rehab price limit low. I'm just glad to know it's going to someone who's going to love it.

And thanks, Hyacinth!

Thanks for understanding! I have a little "code of ethics" where I don't bid on something that someone from the board saw first and obviously wants-but this one I had been watching for several days with my fingers crossed that no one else bid!

I have let quite a few green Willis get away and haven't seen them go for less than $90ish, so I'm OK with what I paid. But I seriously need to STOP!

Item: White Legacy Zip 9966, USA 1996
Garage Sale: $8
Dimensions: 9” tall in center, 11” wide at bottom, 4.5” deep across base
Comments: My concern is that the stitching on the piping on the bottom of the bag is crocked; it is straight in other areas.

Please offer an opinion on authenticity, thank you! Let me know if you would like more pics, thanks again!

It seems genuine, as long as the price tag looks like it came from the right time period. The rest of the bag is ok.

The price tag is hand written which is concerning but I have seen that at the outlet a few times on older bags that have been returned. Here is are some pics of the tag, thanks again!
