OMGG thank you. Because these types of bags especially this style of coach has a lot of fake ones. I was thinking white is harder to make a perfect copy of it, but then when I tried to find it online I just could find a same type of bag but in black there was an option of white but there's no photo so I am not sure. Anyway thank you very much, you saved my life!!:smile1::smile1::smile1:

Good morning!
In the interest of NOT wasting authenticator' precious time...is there a resource for DIY research for checking out Coach belts? I've searched "belts" on this thread and also spent a fair amount of time on the Wayback site.

I've collected a dozen or so belts over the years and there is such a variation of Coach logos, manufacturing locations and materials used...I just don't want to waste anyone's time if I can weed out - and avoid embarrassing myself - by posting obvious fakes.

And if you don't mind helping authenticate (after I do some homework), could you please give me suggestions on what photos to post - I'm guessing the buckle along with inside "creed" ?

Any info/direction is greatly appreciated - as always!

I know that there are not enough pics to authenticate this bag, and I’m not actually interested in bidding on it, but I have a couple of questions.

When I saw this bag I thought it was a small hippie but the vendor lists the serial number as: N2-JOD-9135 and I know that any coach with a 3-part number is a fake. But then it occurred to me that it may actually be “No JOD-9135” and the seller misread it, what do you think?

My other question is “Do they really call it a “nipple flap”?!

As we've said before, never expect a seller to copy a serial number correctly. And the two incorrect letters in the names are very easy for someone unfamilar with the European alphabet to get confused, she probably has no idea what a hippie actually is.

The pattern and buckle are important but the imprinted stamps on the back are crucial.

Don't worry about posting too many. I know I don't mind responding and other authenticators want to help too. We do what we can when we can.

3 - ok, just "Taft Bag"
4 - genuine, I don't know either. Early-mid 1970s?
5- looks genuine, late 1980s

Below are 4 belts...the first image showing buckles of all 4, followed by images of the stamps on their other sides in the same order. There is also an image of the other end of the top. Let me know if this format is ok to use in the future :)

I will appreciate any info you can give me about these...I've not spent a lot of money on any of them...just thrift store finds...Thanks in advance!

All are authentic.

Most belts don't have special names. They're "leather belts."

1. Style ?? (I can't read it.), color: Mocha
2. Style 5900, color British tan
3. Style 5700 (I think), color (can't read)
4. Style 6600, color British tan

Post pictures of the boots, the soles and on the inside, there should be stamped size/style information.
