It's authentic.
There are fakes of that style and in many cases, the fakes have a valid (or semi-valid) serial number. But no worries with this one!
I just have it listed as a Soho Small Zip (?), no catalog information that I can find, sorry. The color is probably called Toffee, Coach introduced that color with nickel hardware for the Sohos in early 1998 but only used it for a short time. It was replaced by Camel for 1999.

I know that there are not enough pics to authenticate this bag, and Im not actually interested in bidding on it, but I have a couple of questions.
When I saw this bag I thought it was a small hippie but the vendor lists the serial number as: N2-JOD-9135 and I know that any coach with a 3-part number is a fake. But then it occurred to me that it may actually be No JOD-9135 and the seller misread it, what do you think?
My other question is Do they really call it a nipple flap?!
Thanks in advance for your help!
I've been seeing several listings with No. copied (incorrectly) as either N2 or N9. They're misreading the underscore as part of a number.
As for authenticity, wait for someone who knows better than I.
The creed and serial look almost worn away, and English is obviously not the seller's first language. So it's probably a safe bet that she read "No" as "N2" and "Hippie" as "Nipple".
As we've said before, never expect a seller to copy a serial number correctly. And the two incorrect letters in the names are very easy for someone unfamilar with the European alphabet to get confused, she probably has no idea what a hippie actually is.
You're welcome.OMGG thank you. Because these types of bags especially this style of coach has a lot of fake ones. I was thinking white is harder to make a perfect copy of it, but then when I tried to find it online I just could find a same type of bag but in black there was an option of white but there's no photo so I am not sure. Anyway thank you very much, you saved my life!!![]()
The pattern and buckle are important but the imprinted stamps on the back are crucial.Good morning!
In the interest of NOT wasting authenticator' precious time...is there a resource for DIY research for checking out Coach belts? I've searched "belts" on this thread and also spent a fair amount of time on the Wayback site.
I've collected a dozen or so belts over the years and there is such a variation of Coach logos, manufacturing locations and materials used...I just don't want to waste anyone's time if I can weed out - and avoid embarrassing myself - by posting obvious fakes.
And if you don't mind helping authenticate (after I do some homework), could you please give me suggestions on what photos to post - I'm guessing the buckle along with inside "creed" ?
Any info/direction is greatly appreciated - as always!
You're welcome. That makes a lot of sense, thanks!

Comments:I had a hard time getting a good picture of the creed. It states A2D-9980. The font looks like it "should" to me - worn and hard to read.

Don't worry about posting too many. I know I don't mind responding and other authenticators want to help too. We do what we can when we can.
Thanks for your consideration.
You're welcome.
1 and 2, ok
3 - ok, just "Taft Bag"
4 - genuine, I don't know either. Early-mid 1970s?
5- looks genuine, late 1980s
All are authentic.I always appreciate the help you all contribute with your authenticatons.
Below are 4 belts...the first image showing buckles of all 4, followed by images of the stamps on their other sides in the same order. There is also an image of the other end of the top. Let me know if this format is ok to use in the future
I will appreciate any info you can give me about these...I've not spent a lot of money on any of them...just thrift store finds...Thanks in advance!
Post pictures of the boots, the soles and on the inside, there should be stamped size/style information.Hello! I purchased a pair of Coach rain boots at a consignment event. Is there any way that you would be able to authenticate them if I post pictures? If not, do you know of anyone that can? Thanks!

Hello, can you please help to authenticate this art glam tote, I've been searching for one. Much appreciated!

The creed looks okay but I wonder if the 6th picture is the same bag. It appears to be a brown bag with gold/brass leather and hardware. (It could be the lighting or flash but if you are planning on bidding, please verify that she posted the correct pictures and verify the color of the bag.
