It's definitely a copy of the late 90s (1997?) Saddle Bag but with a fake 1994 creed. In addition to the other problems we both spotted, the position of the creed itself is wrong, it's too low on the pocket. Both Saddle Bag style 9988 and the Lunch Box Zip style 9991 were introduced at least a year after the supposed date on the bag you bought. And although the M plant code seems to have moved around quite a bit, during late 1994 when yours is date-coded it was pretty much Costa Rica only except for a few oddball US Olympic Games items.

Thank you so much! Like I said, this seller is pretty nice, she has great prices, and she combined shipping for me on the bags I ordered. I think I am just going to add the price I paid for this bag into what I paid for the Basic Bag that I got that is legit, and it ends up with me paying $32 for the Basic Bag, still a really good price. I feel like it was my risk ordering something iffy like that, and in the future I can avoid the same mistake. Lesson learned! I don't want to make a big deal over a $10 bag, especially when the seller did not put anything on the listing to indicate that the bag was a Coach bag. I will simply add this one to my destroy pile with the other fake I got two weeks ago. That seller did refund me, but she had put that it was a Coach bag on the listing, and I sent her here so she could learn what to look for in the future. I feel like when I buy the cheapest bags I can find, I win some and I lose some, and in this case, I lost.

I made a mistake in the original identification, the dimensions indicate it might have been a Slim Clutch Large like the one someone else asked about earlier today. The Portfolio is listed as 17 inches by 11, and the Slim Clutch as 13x9.

All I have are drawings from 30-year old catalogs so they're not going to be much help, and I've never owned that style. It's probably best to have DemRam or Noshoepolish take a look.

Thank you! Do you happen to know the style number on the Slim Clutch Large?

Hi Kate. I'm certainly not sure, but I think the bag you found could explain how the leather strap on the zipper pull would have been stitched originally. Simply folded over and stitched flat.

I'm just guessing, but it does look as though there is a small dark area where there could have been stitches - OR - maybe they used the leather "band" as seen on the 2nd one.

I'm just not familiar with the hole in the leather, though it's certainly possible.

Thanks! I think I will take a pic of the burgandy bag with me to the cobbler and ask if it can be restitched.

All are authentic.

Most belts don't have special names. They're "leather belts."

1. Style ?? (I can't read it.), color: Mocha
2. Style 5900, color British tan
3. Style 5700 (I think), color (can't read)
4. Style 6600, color British tan

THANKS SOOO MUCH!

Any idea how old they would be?
Thanks again!

Please authenticate these belts...
I did find all of these styles on the Wayback site (I think the earliest 1997), just want to verify as some of the stamping is different...different years?
#1 & #3 have outlet bullseye.

Any info is much appreciated.

I greatly appreciate everyone's time & dedication! Thanks in advance!

That bag is fake. Pleaase report.

In fact, it came up several days ago when a few other bags with the same serial number were discussed and Hyacinth added it to the "fake-invalid serial number list"
