Comments: I would to know if this looks okay before I pay. It's an okay price for its condition, and I've been wanting this style for awhile now. The only thing is I can think of is the font on the serial number looks a little strange to me (too thick?).

It looks ok.

There was always a little variation in fonts, creeds and numbers since each plant had its own stamp.

Hello Gals~
I am not sure if this authentic COACH as I have never seen it before. It was given to me by my husbands aunt.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Third times a charm?

first thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge.

Got this bag last spring at a thrift store. Went to a Coach boutique and was told the number format was wrong. Started reading here, and found out some things.

From what I've gathered here the lining matches that of the Sonoma line, but the leather isn't pebbled. Also, there is this odd "donated" stamp on the creed.

It's a Cashin design. Not sure of the exact name...maybe "Double Kisslock"..."Swinger"..."Double Entry"? (I have the same bag, but it has metal chain straps).

I'm not sure that Coach repairs anything anymore. The people working there now probably wouldn't recognize the name Bonnie Cashin. Maybe someone else can help, depending on what repairs need to be made.

This bag isn't my area of expertise so although I don't see any obvious problems, please wait for DemRam and Hyacinth for their opinions.

I do have a comment on what you said above, in red bold.

I hope what you've read here confirms what we've said about Coach being the last place to ask about anything but current styles!
