Probably genuine.

Back to reading the Salearea Guides.

And Coach used a large variety of stamps and fonts, don't ever judge one based on a totally different bag, plant, style or year.
Thanks. In the back of my mind was some ebay guide that claimed that they always used the same font. It made me start to worry that my tango flap wasn't authentic since the "N" on it looked different than on some of my other bags. I guess that once you get burned with a counterfeit bag, you tend to get overly concerned.

Hello everyone. I've been inspired by the Before and After Pictures in the Coach Rehab thread, and my Mother and Aunt gifted me with 10 coach bags that had been collecting dust in their closets for me to work on. I've read through several authentication threads and, based on the knowledge shared on TPF, I think that they are all genuine. However, I would greatly appreciate any information and/or confirmation you would be able to provide (possible year make, name of bag) before I start putting time and energy into rehabbing them.

I'll start with the 5 bags that I know the least about and will break my list up into a few posts listing the color, creed info and approximate measurements. Please let me know if you need better photos of any of the bags. Thank you in advance for all your generous help!

Any time some Guide claims that Coach alsways uses the same font, don't waste brain space on saving the information. Seriously. Once a month read through the Salearea Guides to refresh your memory because with almost NO exceptions, any time any Guide starts using words like "always", "never" or "Identical" that Guide is usually full of cwap. Coach details change constantly and the only "always" or "never" that I accept are that Patchwork bags always have the same patches on both front and back and that genuine Coach bags were never made in Korea. Even the "Coach bags that are mostly Signature Cs or Coach logos on the outside should never have Logo or Signature C lining" rule is qualified by that "mostly" and the Signature Wave bags walk a fine line in following it.

Any other "unbreakable" rule in someone's internet Guide is BS.

Thank you Hyacinth for confirming that they are genuine and for providing me with the names! Much appreciated!

Hello. These are the last batch of bags for authentication. I believe I've been able to identify these based on other posts I've seen, but I would still feel more comfortable receiving a 2nd opinion. Thanks again for all your help!!

I'll have to remember that. It seems that the more I learn, the more mistakes I make. However I question the "patchwork bags always have the same patches on both front and back" as I have seen examples that seem to violate this rule, particularly this collection:
