comments: I "think" it's ok, but always better safe than sorry. There is a white flash on the letter "F" in "FULL", but that's a trick of the camera. I could find no spelling errors. Also, the interior is the exact same color as the exterior ... the bright flash made the creed color look much lighter than it actually is. I also compared it to my Black station bag (previously authenticated here), and the dimensions/details are the same). Crossing my fingers, because this thing is in *mint* condition. Not even any lint inside of it.

Please wait for opinions on authenticity of the bag in the listing. As for the seller, le_franco_ricain (le franco ricain), you should search the forum and/or google the seller's ID because there are quite a few posts concerning this seller and why he/she isn't recommended.

For future reference, see post #1 of the thread for posting format. It's helpful in searches (like this one) for seller IDs, reputation and listings.)

Without actually seeing the creed stamp and serial it's almost impossible to be sure.

But if you HAD seen other bags with the same serial number that would mean they were fake. Any serial number that's ALL NUMBERS and no letters is supposed to be unique and never duplicated. Numbers that appear more than once like 308-9875, 0444-315,-316, and -317, 0974-534 and many others mean the bag is fake.

Thank you, that's very useful to know. I will post a picture of the stamp once I receive it.

I was actually referring to this other purse when I was thinking of duplicate serial numbers, but now that I enlarged the picture I can see that it's actually J0D instead of 000. So maybe there's a possibility of it being an original. Good thing this was an inexpensive purchase, if it does turn out to be fake.

If you don't mind me asking another question, do you know if 000-9812 would be an authentic serial number format for this style of purse if it is indeed as old as the seller says it is? It's hard for me to find good information on the ridgefield style for whatever reason.
