Thank you so much! I was only able to identify these because of all your previous posts. You're an amazing resource!

Just wondering, what is it about the court bag that places it in the late 1980s rather than earlier? Was the court bag not made before then?

Coach details change constantly and the only "always" or "never" that I accept are that Patchwork bags always have the same patches on both front and back and that genuine Coach bags were never made in Korea. Even the "Coach bags that are mostly Signature Cs or Coach logos on the outside should never have Logo or Signature C lining" rule is qualified by that "mostly" and the Signature Wave bags walk a fine line in following it.

Any other "unbreakable" rule in someone's internet Guide is BS.

I'll have to remember that. It seems that the more I learn, the more mistakes I make. However I question the "patchwork bags always have the same patches on both front and back" as I have seen examples that seem to violate this rule, particularly this collection:

Good point, but that one and the suede version 8B16 escape on a technicality. Coach never calls either one "Patchworks" - they're both MOSAIC Pleated Hobos. So Patchworks have patches on 2 sides, Mosaics only on the front.

So I suppose from now on the "P" in the "patchworks" rule has to be capitalized. :p

Because the creed in the Court Bag says "Made in the United States" and that wording wasn't used until after 1987 when Coach opened additional plants outside of NYC.

"Vintage" request, please. Thank you. :flowers:

item name: Brown station bag (if it's real)
seller link: n/a
pictures: below
comments: I "think" it's ok, but always better safe than sorry. There is a white flash on the letter "F" in "FULL", but that's a trick of the camera. I could find no spelling errors. Also, the interior is the exact same color as the exterior ... the bright flash made the creed color look much lighter than it actually is. I also compared it to my Black station bag (previously authenticated here), and the dimensions/details are the same). Crossing my fingers, because this thing is in *mint* condition. Not even any lint inside of it.

Please Authenticate. I would appreciate any additional info on this bag. Thanks.

(In the future, please use the format requested in post number 1 on page 1 of this thread.)

The bag is genuine but the seller has misidentified it. It's NOT from the Madison line, it's from the 1999-2000 Gramercy line. The style is called a Gramercy Top Handle and the color is Wheat, this one was made in Italy in October 1999.

A little more information about the Gramercys is posted at Ebay's Reviews and Guides under Salearea's ID:
