Comments: Hey, I purchased this item. Please authenticate. I don't know what style it is. It also looks to be dyed. Is it just me or does it look like it was once blue? There was also a big rip that wasn't described. Additional pictures are added below:

It looks like a City Bag from around 1987, measurements would help. Why not just return the bag if you're worried about it being dyed? Since the rip wasn't disclosed and it's going to cost money out of your pocket to have the torn stitching fixed, I'd ask for my money back since the bag is SNAD. I don't want to speculate on the color because cameras and computers seldom show colors accurately and Coach's dark colors sometimes lightened or faded over time.

You are right. I wanted to make sure it was authentic before I sent the seller an email. I want to send her all my issues with the bag in one email.

Hi! I am new around here and have been excitedly reading about Coach rehab projects. I hit up a local thrift store and found this bag. I love the style! My intuition says it's real, but I want to know for sure. The serial number format would indicate it's from the 70s I think. I'd love to know whether it's real and what it is called. Then I will proceed to try to clean it up. :)

The serial number is 307-2935, which is a little hard to see in the picture.
