Has she agreed to a mutual cancellation? The last thing you need is a re-dyed purse with a strap that's going to be leaving dark blue dye all over your clothing.

Something has definitely been "done" to that bag. Read this from the auction:

I would ask what was used to "change the color". If you look at the enlarged photos you can see some sort of blue "gunk" on the metal grommets on the strap.
