Abawinful is definitely a seller to avoid and her name and other IDs are well-known to most "refugees" from Ebay's Shoes & Purses forum.

Has she agreed to a mutual cancellation? The last thing you need is a re-dyed purse with a strap that's going to be leaving dark blue dye all over your clothing.

I emailed her and expressed my concern about the dye and color transfer and she sent this. I'm still waiting for the mutual cancellation email.

Although it seems the shoemaker used leather spray to change the color of the strap, I cannot guarantee anything. As a seller, you know how difficult things are for seller these days. Therefore, to avoid any problems with this transaction, I shall cancel the purchase. Please kindly fill the cancellation request in order for me to recoup my final value fees.

That's probably how she avoids all the negatives.

Some of her items go rather high and it makes my stomach churn because she coats her stuff with crud.

She buys alot of poor stuff and dyes them and flips them, making a killing. I could not live with myself if I flipped the stuff she does.

You're probably right. I really do know better but for some reason common sense went out the window here. I'm just glad to not be stuck with a bag that will color transfer on to ME!

Better pictures of the entire bag would help especially the rest of the strap and the area under the flap. If it's a Shoulder Purse from the 1980s, please keep in mind that it's a very small bag - Coach's measurements are a bit smaller than the seller's and are listed as 8 x 4 1/2 x 2 inches which is barely bigger than a full-size checkbook wallet.. It's definitely genuine but I'm not 100 percent sure that it's a Shoulder Purse without a few more photos.

Please be sure the size will work for you.

Can you please authenticate this coach? I tried to take my own pictures, but they are coming out worse than the ebay ones. I received the bag today and it is a thick, beautiful leather and feels authentic but of course I have not had it authenticated yet. I had asked a question in the "name this bag" thread and was told by Hyacinth that it was an ergo flap bag. Here is the link to the auction, which is over.

If I identify something with a Coach style name, that means I believe it's genuine. If it's fake, it's NOT a Coach and doesn't deserve a Coach name and won't be identified with one.

Yours is genuine. As I said, Ergos are often faked but this one is ok.

For those that didn't see my other post, I asked what style name went with the style number in my other thread. Hyacinth did not identify my bag unseen as genuine. :smile1:
