Ladies do you authenticate shoes?

If so would you please let me know about this pair.

Item number: 270842541083
Link:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-COACH...&otn=4&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=3894819008221306109

The product ID for shoes is in the Item specifics block.

Thank you.
Please ask the seller for a picture of the imprint on the sole of the shoe as well as a picture of the size/style stamped information on the inside of the shoe under the (either) vamp or tongue. (Although the information is there, it's the pictures that show the information and font that's important.)

Thank you..

I hope someone else comes along and looks at this too.. I would love to know if its safe to sell myself or if I have to return it to the seller..

Nice leather..everything else seems right...replacement strap

The rivets that hold the buckle down are flat compared to the rivets on my other duffles..which have little conical dents in them. Should the rivets be the same? Also the patch pocket is an inch longer than my other duffles... can this vary as well?

thank you.

Hi again,
I need help again to authenticate these 2 coach bags. A blogger friend emailed me these for sale.

1. Red bag.
Please let me know the name of the bag and the year it was made.
https://picasaweb.google.com/115367181598244473760/CoachRedSatchel

2. Brown Tote. I know it's very beat up but would like to know the name and year it was made.
https://picasaweb.google.com/115367181598244473760/CoachBrownTote

For the second bag, do I need a clearer picture of the creed? If so, I'll ask him for one.

Thank you in advance. I appreaciate your help very much :)

I bought this..

Features look right.. but
1. the Creed is hard to read.. so I'd like a second opinion..
2. also, the binding on bottom overlaps and ends on a side seam (I've noticed on my other duffles the binding ends and overlaps center between the side seams)

Thank you.

I've never had or examined a Duffle Sac so I can't say how or even IF the bindings and side seam are supposed to be aligned, But other Coaches don't seem to follow any similar "rules." Maybe someone familiar with the style can add something?

I AM concerned about the "puffy" and hard to read creed stamping, and also the "S" plant code since it seems too early for that code to be used, and it was only used AFAIK in a very early Chinese plant in 1996, and later in the same plant once Coach openly moved production to China around 2000. I'm not sure it's fake but I'd call it questionable.
I was hesitant to make this post because bags of this vintage aren't my area of expertise but I did do a bit of comparing of other 1994 bags of style 9085 and in all the listings where I was able to see the piping, it was joined in the middle and not on the side. Here's another listing for a bag also made in 1994, however the seller doesn't show the creed. It's from a different plant and month but might be a valid comp:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-Vintage-Coach-Extra-Large-Zippered-Black-Bucket-Shoulder-Bag-/260884903182?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3cbdf3 b50e

And another from 1994 with the trim in the middle and not on the side:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-COACH-ENGLISH-TAN-LARGE-BUCKET-LEATHER-HANDBAG-9085-/150679807237?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item231537 6505

And did you enlarge this picture to see the stitching? Yikes!

I can't read the serial number or date code on the red one, but if they were both from the same country of origin and same time period, both the rivets and the sizes of the inside pockets should be the same. The fact that they're not makes it more likely that the first one you asked about was a fake.

The other classic-era bags I own also have dimpled rivets, not the kind on the questionable bag. That very deep creed stamping is also something not found on either classic OR vintage (20 years old or more) bags.

ETA - I just checked the stitching as BeenBurned suggested. She's right, the stitching is a MESS.

The first one is a genuine Sheridan Roswell Satchel style number 4228 from 1992 or 1993.

The second one is a Classic Lunch Tote from 1999 if I'm reading the number right. Size is about 10x7 inches.

Thank you so much Hyacinth :) I finally bought the red sheridan roswell satchel. Can't wait to receive it :)

By the way, can u help with authenticating another 2 bags ? I think the seller got the name wrong for both of the bags.

1. Coach Penelope Black leather handbag 9073 ( Is it Penelope by the way? I read on the net that it's andrea slim shoulder bag. Correct me if I'm wrong)
http://negobundle.blogspot.com/2011/11/coach-penelope-black-leather-handbag.html

2. Coach Rambler Legacy crossbody ( It should be Coach Murphy Willis Crossbody 9930, right?)
http://negobundle.blogspot.com/2011/10/coach-rambler-legacy-crossbody-shoulder.html

thank you in advance :smile1:
